360 Modena at Marshall Goldman

Been following the 360 market for a while looking for a "starter Ferrari". Looks like Marshall Goldman has had this car for a while and has lowered the price a couple of times. Seems like a decent price for a red 360 from a reputable dealer.

Anyone familiar with this car?

Saw it also. I would want to have a discussion about the car fax showing 11 owners. Good dealer though.

Do a search on Marshall Goldman. Lots of data here regarding this dealer.

Thanks for the quick car fax info. Eleven owners is concerning but not necessary something that would keep me from buying a car like this. If it checks out with a good PPI and doesn't have an accident history, my only concern with having so many previous owners would be impact in resale value maybe.

 

Spoke to the dealer and reviewed the carfax. Carfax says nine owners and no accidents. Lots of owners but I don't see anything else concerning there. Dealer says North Coast Exotics did the major and a new clutch a year ago.

Yeah, they seem to want more for all their cars than everyone else.

The Duval car goachild2000 posted looks better and the bid only got to 61K the last time. Call the guy direct and cut Ebay for the discount he'd pay anyway.

 

The Duval car had a BIN of 65,700

 

Clicked on the relist and saw it sold 2 days ago... Someone else agreed with us!

I'd call and see if he'd take a back up offer if the other guy drops, jfthoi.

 

That e-bay car looked like a good value. I do like the idea of buying from MG though - they seem to be reputable and they are only about three hours from me. Makes for an easy and lower risk transaction. I have been looking on and off for a while. Definitely interested in a 360 and I think it needs to be red with shields (just what I like) but keep going back and forth between F1 and gated and low and higher mileage cars. I think the car I really want is a lower mile spyder with the gated manual. Just not sure I want to tie up that much money in a car.

Decisions decisions....

 

I have also seen this car in person. The car is in really good condition. The MG staff is very helpful as well. Let me know if you need anything, I drive past MG daily.

I guess it might be in good condition mechanically, but the amount of sticky pieces in that car are borderline ridiculous...

 

Hi: did you see this in person or were you able to see this in the photos?

 

70k seems very fair for the car from goldman. many people buy ferraris and use them for a bit and sell them. if the car's been vetted by a reputable dealer i'd jump on it. It's the best color combo too. Just make sure they throw you in a new major service so you're good to go for five years.
