Nice pic David...We're just getting started here in the desert SW!
Btw, switch your rear wheels to the other sides. They are rotating in the wrong direction.

Oh my! Your absolutely correct! I had new tires installed this year and I forgot to alert installer and double check afterwards. Thanks for the heads up!

^^ ha, I know, I know. Nicer people here [emoji41].

Actually BimmerForums is ok. Mye28.com is snarky and RV3limited is a bunch of punk millennials, LOL.

Nice to be a part of the F-car brotherhood. And I really, really like my 348. It is a blast to drive. My past favorite car was my 1966 Cobra replica. It was pretty well done. The Ferrari is similar in driving feel, but of course 400% more balanced, yet I can enjoy the rawness and still have some fairly modern touches. Long live the 348 Spider!! [emoji482]

Major Service in progress with a bunch of things I would have never known about had it not been for this forum, including:
    Ricambi 30k kit w/HE tensioners
Oil tensioner update w/HE bearing and SRI pad
    Capristo water pump (metal impeller)
    Nouvalari sport exhaust w/catbypass pipes
    HE skid plates

Yes! And Hill upgrades are top notch.

There's 200hp in new throttle bodies and intake plenums. Gotta find the thread. Enjoy!

Thanks guys... esp for the tb and plenum advice loll
Checked the belt condition as I know the last service was done in '08. The belt looks fine but it looks like Ferrari put in an '06 production belt as per the stamps on it.

Nice 71ºF/22ºC fall day today. I haven't driven the 348 much this year so I figured today was a nice enough day to give it a little bath and then take it for a drive.

My last belt was in 2006 at 38k miles. I am at 58k miles now and still enjoying trouble free use. Trying to decide my next step..... saw a motor on eBay for $11k may keep rolling that dice [emoji482]

Thanks, man. ~7 years and ~3k miles on mine. Hoping to do a serious major service over the winter (too hot here to do it in the summer) but debating whether to do that or repair the engine in the track car. Wish I had a crystal ball. ;)

You're doing it the way I intend to. No use in being in there and not doing it as right as you can. Keep us up to date on what they find. In fact, I wish you'd start a thread and post pics of the old parts, as well as a decription of their condition, in order to add to the knowledge base of component longevity on a 348.

I think today was the last day of nice weather. It's supposed to rain tomorrow evening and then the temps are supposed to drop.

Very cool seeing pics of it man. :D

And I apologize I keep missing your car, every time you call it lists it as "overseas" and I receive A LOT of phone scammers/spammers from overseas, so I don't answer them anymore.

But I will next time. :p

Will call you soon Brother, lots of love to you. :)

That time of year again, school graduations. :D

Just took a friend of a friend of a friend to his school graduation in the Ferrari. :p

Great kid, looked a million bucks! Going to University next year, I wish him all the best.

Just took a pic now I am home, currently 6.25 pm here.

Engine cover struts buggered again. Got 8 years out of the Sachs ones, have new ones coming again.

Was 41c here today, so the Ferrari was really cooking. A/C was ice cold in the cab.

Engine cover being held up by old baby porta-cot to let some heat out.
