    Dear Felipe: Ever since you started, I have greatly enjoyed watching your Formula 1 exploits. You provided me with many thrilling races, some brilliant drives, and some "Maranello Joy" that comes with with the intangibles of you being a Ferrari GP driver and me being an owner.
    While we have never met, it seems that your return from severe injury demonstrated your love of racing and a hell of a lot of determination. I addition, the degree to which you supported (and continued to support) Micheal Schumacher makes me believe you were the ultimate team player both for Michael and for Ferrari.
    More importantly, years ago with the world title on the line, your Brazilian GP win in wild conditions and was an all-time great, and the class and dignity with which you handled the resultant crushing disappointment was unparalleled. Instead of sulking or pouting, you demonstrated great sportsmanship, and your home country's recent farewell was richly deserved.
    I hope you do some Indycar or Sports prototype races in America, but whatever your future endeavors involve, I wish you the best.

    I met Massa in 2013. He's a really nice cool, and respectable chap. I met his mom and dad too, and I could see where he got his nice attitude from.

    One of the nicest guy in the paddock. The fact that he almost got killed, never gave up, still came back shows what kind of fighter he is. Wish you all the best my friend.

    Massa was the rightfull 2008 Champion, by far the best and most deserving that year..he was in my mind responsible for 3 titles for Ferrari, for that, for his devotion to teh team, his talent, i will always admire him. Thank you Felipe, and all of the best in your future.

    Well written. I did not start watching F1 until 2007 and Mass has been my favorite since that year. It wont be the same for me moving forward

    I was fortunate to meet him in February 2009, just after the disappointment of 2008, and before his accident.

    A lovely, humble human being who was quite happy to be swamped by our eager Ferrari Owners Clubs enthusiasm at a Shell function.
