    To bring this Countach 5000S back to the condition it left the factory in 1983 we have to go so deep. The car suffered a lot from unprofessional restoration attempts. The original accident damage was for sure much easier to repair than all the damage our predecessors were able to cause.

    We keep track about all the hours, parts and materials spend but I did not summarize anything until now.

    To fix such a tubular chassis correctly and make fit all the attached parts and the panels perfectly is extremely time consuming.

    There is also no room for errors. We do all the chassis work on the Celette straightening bench equipped with a Blackhawk measuring system and special produced jigs.

    The Countach roof is still available from Lamborghini. It is possible to produce a spare roof with the help of an English wheel but the compound curved shape of the roof is very demanding to reproduce. You need an experienced hand to form the sheet metal exactly as the original.

    Paul, thank you. The switch plate of my Countach DD survived and the switch plate for the 5000S I was already able to buy NOS.
