What fans of his?, most here are ferrari fans. Not many of us like Elton, that's to be expected on a ferrari chat I would imagine
What racism. What ****ing racism?!?! There is no racism allowed on this board, anyone showing so gets banned! So people cheering for a Rosberg win is racist? No anti anything here. In any case, we have plenty of bikini/boob/ass threads on this board so a tad late on that front.
Graham Hill WDC to Damon Hill WDC: 34 years Keke Rosberg to Nico Rosberg WDC: 34 years Congrats to Nico. He drove his best season ever.
I keep coming here because there are some excellent technical minds, and people that can help me punch through my biases in favor of HAM and RIC. I learned quite a bit about the sport, but honestly I don't comment much for the reasons I talked about. The behavior here quite off putting to many other people I recommended this forum to - an African American, and a woman. I get that car culture overall tends to skew this way, but it's disheartening to see my fellow F1-heads act in this manner just because of the love of one driver over the other. Anyway, sorry for the venting session, and congrats to the new world champion - Nico Rosberg!!!
Toto just said "Ve ah going to paahty haad" The lucky guy gets to paahty with Suzie!! If I was Lewis, I would make myself feel better by rolling around in piles of money and models on my private jet.
No MB fans on here is what's to be expected. Hating on Lewis is unexpected and disproportionate compared to the fans at the track.
At the track, there isn't a 'ferrari only' stand, and if there was, it would likely boo the plonker when he goes past
First problem you have is using PC labels. Was that person born in Africa? If born (legally) in America, that person is an American. A woman can be an American also. You don't hear people calling themselves Scottish- or Swedish-Americans, do you? And if a woman comes to this site and sees men commenting on women's looks, she shouldn't be surprised. This is not a government website. You could hear the same talk at any race track.
British F1 twitterer did a poll this week, vast majority of his followers are British, yet 46% voted Rosberg to 44% Elton to win title. Considering this is a Ferrari board, I don't think it's that bad here. Especially with the legion of thickos spewing their utterly biased junk here for the last 2 years until they got banned, no one wants to be associated with them. Elton makes it very hard for him to be liked by people unless they're of a certain mentality or nationality. And even on the nationality, he's been steadily losing his fans because of his behavior.
He has been driving all his season in Prost-manner. He never went into something short term horizon. I always thought it would pay off well, once they have proper competition. It turns out Nico has improved on his own to not have needed help. If I read right yesterday Wehrlein is still looking for a seat next year. I think group 44 is due for a year at the beach. My heart was pounding, what a thrilling race to the finish line.
Elton is a very arrogant and petulant bloke. I strongly disliked Alonso when he was a young lion chasing Schui also for the same reasons, although Fred grew out of it.
This may be going off topic, but this is a staggeringly tone deaf response. I'd like to show you just how wrong this point of view is, but since that will just spark more debate and vitriol that won't change anyone's mind. I'll respect that this is an F1 forum and let the matter drop. Cheers.
Suzie is expecting so she can't party that hard! When it comes to Lewis, he would come out of this Championship with a lot more credit if he was a bit more magnanimous in defeat! He's pretty much ignored Nico since the finish of the race, and given Nico no credit whatsoever for what he's achieved! Yes Lewis has had some bad luck this season, but let's not forget that two years ago Nico lost a WDC to Lewis at the last race due to a car failure that was no fault of his own! As it stands, right now Lewis looks like an incredibly poor loser! Congratulations to Nico - I'm so glad he got to win at least one F1 WDC in his career!
Indeed, and dropped it is. America just soundly rejected this bogus line of thnking at the polls. Europe still hasn't figured it out.
