Every race including practice and qualy. Post your proof or move along to another conspiracy that might be grounded in reality. The look on Nico's face today reveals the TOTAL lack of manipulation. But please keep entertaining us LOL
The race ended with Lewis showing a desperation to win the WDC anyhow possible. Would the likes of Senna or Schumacher have done the same? - Yes! TBH though, I think Lewis has shown far worse sportsmanship post race than during it!
There's no way that Lauda could have "manipulated" a WDC for Rosberg or anyone else for that matter. It just isn't possible...too many things out of one person's control. I'm sure he's pleased with the result, but he had nothing to do with it.
+1! The WDC has ended nicely for Lauda with Nico winning it, but to say he manipulated it is pushing the boundaries of credibility by quite a margin!
Apparently Hamilton quit Merc after Spanish gp collision, that's why they drafted in Wehrlein. If ever there was a poor excuse of a sportsman...
Well said by the BBC after the race - Rosberg becomes world champion Posted at 16:16 Ultimately the stats speak for themselves. Nico Rosberg has won nine races this season, and 12 of the 24 since losing out on the 2015 title to Hamilton in Austin. To bounce back from that low in such impressive fashion surely means he deserves a world title? He's closed out his wins professionally and produced some brilliant performances along the way. And in today's final race, he kept his nerve when it counted.
Conspiracy theorists unite. Most anything Ham has to say will be viewed as more childish acts now that he has shown just how childish he really is. Nico is so different now then he was a couple seasons ago when he really wore his emotions when losing to Lewis on his entire body. He's learned to ignore the troll, and it worked. Very Prost-like championship
He's a paranoid conspiracy theorist! "The krauts are out to get me! Niki put a potato in my tail pipe!"
Yep, there is no team orders when both drivers can win the WDC so unusually Elton did what I would do, and all of you would do. Mercedes were not manipulating the WDC when asking Elton to speed up they were worried about loosing the race. Pete
We'd all do the same, that I agree on. But why have rules then? Merc had plenty of meetings in the last few days to ensure if wouldn't come down to this, and Rosberg and Hamilton both attended and agreed not to play dirty. He'd earn my respect if he said, before the race, or these meetings or whatever ''I'm out here to win the title for myself, and I'll do whatever is necessary for me to ensure I win it''. To first agree to one thing and do another, that's what irritates me about him.
So Lauda was the "someone" who didn't want him to win the WDC this year then? So just how did Lauda manage to manipulate Hamilton's season? : Did he sabotage Lewis' engines? Did he sabotage Lewis' clutch at so many races so Lewis made so many p:censored:ss poor starts? Did he sabotage Lewis' electronics in Azerbaijan? Did he push Lewis to spend more time enjoying the celebrity life style rather than concentrating on his F1 season? Did he push Lewis to concentrate on his music ambitions rather than concentrating on his F1 season? Please, tell the rest of us just how Lauda Manipulated this entire season against Lewis - I suspect it would make fascinating reading!
From the linked article: Hamilton, meanwhile, has refused to deny reports he threatened to sit out the rest of the season following his crash with Rosberg at May's Spanish GP. "That is all private stuff that is in the past," Hamilton told Sky F1 when asked about the claims. If Lewis had made that threat, had I been in charge of Mercedes then his season would have ended there and then!
Congrats to nico The temper tantrum in me would've wanted to dive bomb Lewis when he started to back me up. However I might've tried the same thing in Lewis shoes depending on the circumstance. If it was all fair then I would've accepted my defeat. There might be some closed doors stuff we don't know about. Lewis attitude was ridiculous. I'm in the lead I don't have a problem or I'm already losing the wdc so I'm not gonna listen makes me think he needs a good ass kicking. Either way bring on 2017
Yeah, suppose Nico decided "enough of this" and "inadvertently" locked up while trying to overtake Elton, thus taking both of them out a la Senna/Prost? Race over, ROS wins WDC. "Just a racing incident, don'tcha know?"
Hummm, Lauda actually recruited Hamilton by convincing him to jump ship from McLaren to join Mercedes . There are surely better ways to ensure a German wins the WDC !
