does anyone know how to open the baffles on an F12? Do you just disconnect the vacuum hose and plug it up? do you also need to disconnect a wire?
    thanks in advance.

Yes exactly as you have said.
Not allowed enough for me so fully decattted and now sounds like a FXX car. best sounding ferrari with valves fully open all the time so straight through.

You can also go with one of these kits that allow you to pick and choose:

    Exhaust Bypass Valve Controller

Standard Remote Control Kit (OEM & CAPRISTO) | Ferrari F12

Or you could go with Novitec- the most expensive, but they can program the ECU for a little more power in stock form and also make the flaps stay open all the time while you are in Race mode. I don't know this, but I would suspect they could customize the flap opening program for you. Whats nice is no fiddling with other switches, just use the manettino.

    NOVITEC ROSSO - Ferrari F12 Berlinettta - Catalog - novitecgroup.com

Go to the page with the Power Stage One as the first entry....

    Anyway, some thoughts for you....

How did you bypass the check engine light when you removed the cats? What kit did you use for cat removal?

The NR software should take care of the CEL as well... :)

On my first F12, the Capristo remote only worked half the time, if that (I heard it was a common problem) which was very frustrating.

The 2nd F12, I just had the dealer open the valves permanently, this sounds fantastic to me. Can easily be put back to stock.

    Best, Paul

My Capristo exhaust works fine every time. Never a check engine light.

    |I have novitec by pass pipes, and the plug and play control unit that cancels out the CEL light. No issue and the sound is epic!! Straight through with valves permanently open the best ever. The car still to quiet with decats pipes and valves closed. Need to be ope all the time. Dyno shows 781 bhp now and have done 220 mph!

I have used the Forza Componenti on both my 458 SpA and TDF - fantastic well engineered product with the ability to open and close the valves to provide all round flexibility. My local F dealer was happy to install - about one hour's work. Have not had an issue since installation Forza Componenti - Home

I have the forza componenti on F12 and capristo on 458. Capristo works half the time while the forza unit always works.
