And an additional microfiber cloth between the tender and the beautiful F12 for no scratches, exemplary!!!

.....and in the 1 in 10,000,000 chance that the plug falls from ceiling, it won't "damage" the car [emoji4]

I hear ya...did the same thing!!! I like the looks of the F12B motor better than the TDF's.

Sorry its that time.... If you could, I would advise to put the tender on the floor away from the car or at least on some kind of rubber mat. Its very low odds, but if the tender sparks, you could have a fire on your hands. :(

Ocean of Carbon .. I love it. It remains a rather rare option on the F12

I'm not surprised as it's a very expensive mostly invisible option as you know, however on a 'keeper', I think it's a must. Never had it on the F12 but have it specced on the tdf.

I honestly wish the front hood was all transparent to be able to view it all the time!

You're welcome F12Kid. These are well made units and the odds are probably very very low of this kind of problem. However, it seems to me with a little extra effort you can make the odds even lower. I've never had a CTek tender burst into flames, but I've heard of others (years ago) and I did have a CTek die from a power spike (599 included one which was pretty crummy)... I'm not sure if you're using the included F12 tender or another Ctek- but Ctek does make a cord extender (for the part that connects to the car if you are using their standard connector- not the Ferrari connector. Someone on the board was selling an adapter- CTek -> Ferrari and I bought a few. I'm using one right now with my F12 (I had my mechanic test it first). Let me know if you want me to find the contact information.

I got a newer tender when I got my 1st FF in Jan'15 and when I sold it in march this year I gave the original tender that came with my '14 F12 with it, keeping the newer/better one which can use different tips on it.

I had the above-car plug installed specifically for the F12 and another one for the FF

Yes blu nart (used on the F60 America show car) for example is a more flat color. The blu abu dhabi which doesn't show up to often is a much more lively shade...

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Great to be a first time member of the V12 family. Was a bit concerned about Titanio/Iroko, but very pleased with outcome. Won't have more pics for a couple of weeks...Escort and film to be installed next week then transporting from Connecticut to Florida for the winter. Can't wait!

Wow. A very, very nice tasteful and understated spec. You have great taste.

This car will look classic and gorgeous in 10 years, unlike many others.

    Really well done.
