I don't think it comes with the books either... a few aftermarket bits on the car too.

I saw the car in the flesh, it was mint! Tasty mods by Micheloto too! If I was looking for a F40 I would had bought it in a heartbeat.

The car does indeed retain its original set of books. Correct on the aftermarket bits though. Not certifiable as it sits.

As I mentioned earlier, I loved that car. All the front mechanicals, the interior, and the engine compartment looked almost new. To me it looked so new that I thought it had been restored

The modifications are easily reversible if someone would pursue Classiche Certification one day. However, since it was modified by Michelotto, I believe it should be a very good F40 to drive. From the top of my mind it had shocks with remote reservoirs, bigger brakes, exhaust, non-original suspension lift, brake bias knob, and a fire extinguisher system.

I was wondering if the engine was tuned too...

Some of the panels had been repainted, does anyone know if this was necessitated as a result of accident damage or just general wear and tear?

Do you think it wouldn't get a Classiche certification if it shows up all original?

Anyway, that F-40 is for someone who likes to drive and take advantage of Michelotto knowledge on that car.
