WTB 348 TS/TB Driver

Finanlly figured out how to post in the classifieds so cross posting from 348/355 section:

I am beginning my search for a 348 and have few requirements.
No museum pieces - looking for a car I can drive and put away dirty and not feel bad about it - maintenance required/small project or accident history is ok. Located in NJ - willing to travel for the right car.

Did you have any luck finding a good one?

 

I came across a few - I think buyers and sellers are somewhat apart on these right now. I was high bidder at Manheim twice and the seller had a price 7-9k more than my high bid and wouldnt budge (and thats at auction) - following eBay, Hemmings etc, it seems the same cars that are listed over 50k have been listed for sometime. Not trying to make this a market $ discussion but thats just my thoughts. I think the cars that are selling are being sold offline for much less than advertised prices on eBay etc....but who knows.

 

7k makes the difference between something that's pretty but not mechanically sound. Looked at several 348's before buying riverflyer's ts.. pretty much a perfect car with all the receipts to prove it. These cars are going up.. if you have been actively shopping you can see it.. Never bought a car that the information runs so deep because of fchat. The passion runs deep��

 

Completely agree. I'm in no rush I'll find the right one.

i am thinking about selling my 1991 348 ts 14500 miles rare white with saddle interior, just did engine out service with new fuel pumps, water pump paid (7400.00) new tires, nice driver, selling price would be 45k, pm me if you might be interested.
