The tri-strato yellow continues to be very popular with the Ferrari factory these days. That yellow can be seen on everything from show cars to press cars and the special builds. Would Ferrari actually show the new F12M edition in that yellow to?

Yeah, saw that. Interesting source of inspiration - a fellow Floridian's crown jewel.

Still, your theory of it being Henn's car was interesting, a modern re-imagining of a classic you own. Like JG did with P4/5.

Any updates on the F12M from the dealers meeting Daytona? Apparently only dealership owners are allowed to see the car.

It's Sunday morning in Daytona and the rumored F12M has yet to appear... but a timetable for a new V12 SC was revealed with private client showings in 1st Q17... so I guess we wait a bit longer...

I'm in Daytona also and asked the GM of a large dealership about the showing. I received the blank stare!

I'm told the F12M will continue to be NA, not hybrid

But after that, successor will have electric motors, that will be the new normal across the lineup

Actually piqued by the F12M in a way i haven't been since the original F12berlinetta - much of tdf tech but more refined

Confirmed non functioning full mock up at Daytona all I could extract (even asking nicely ) direct is : "you will like it a lot", its N/A and meaningful power increase.

Pretty obvious it is TDF power but less edgy of course, GTC spin offs inside and out. Am sure will be fabulous but we may be over egging this - it's not a new car one even concept e.g. Hybrid.

I think hybrid 2020 will be such a huge change for the better and a revolution not evolution that last of N/A speculative money could get burned.

Ferrari holds back its ultimate tech (hybrid and carbon tub) for its hyper car offering. How can potentially bringing that "down" to F12 be a step backwards or make F12 more collectible, its still N/A with KERS and a wall of torque, we are not talking a BMW i3 here.

All I am saying is we are at a tipping point in car tech and there is no assurance at all that much loved lost technology eg carburettors will be "prized" forever. I have an F12 and will het the M but I would take an F12 M powered like LaF tomorrow and shed no tears.

Be careful Tim, loads of speculative money there. Stick with your TDF if I had one I would not get an M.

Tdf is a keeper as regardless of the M, I doubt it will be as pure a visceral expression of Ferrari DNA. M is appealing as possibly the 'softest' car in my garage and thus a little more usable. Speculation is not on my radar.

At Daytona I saw the silhouette drawing that was shown to dealers that had the two door panel vents and single slit over the rear fender. It looks as described last week on this forum. No one I talked (including dealers) had seen the new car at Daytona as of last night when I left.
