I would have liked to have been able to buy a program. The brochure they handed out was rather basic.
Remember the old joke about the difference between heaven and hell? In heaven the chefs are French, the lovers are Italian, the beer is German, the police are English, and it's all run by the Swiss. In hell the chefs are English, the lovers are Swiss, the beer is French, the police are German, and it's all run by the Italians. With everything that was great about this event, let's just say it was obviously run by Italians.
Yeah I basically saw them all! I was hoping to see an F50 GT and F40 LM, but that's alright...I've seen an F40 LM before (1999) and hopefully one day an F50 GT. Otherwise I think I've seen them all! I finished uploading all of my videos, which you can see here. I have walk-through videos through both parking lots with all the cars: https://www.youtube.com/user/WilliamsF1/videos?sort=dd&view=0&shelf_id=0 My flight was delayed 2 hours...our inbound flight (Southwest) from Philly to Orlando was diverted to Charleston as a woman gave birth on the flight. The crew put us on a new plane as they had to clean down the other one... Crazy weekend to say the least.
I was trying to get them to let me take one, but we had to leave around 1:30, so no go..... Shame to let them go to waste, very nice banners. Wanna sell/trade one? Alden
Paul, By the photo of the F1 cars on the track t looks like you must of been sitting close to me. have that same photo taken on m camera too. Were you sitting in the black/white seats and in the Ferrari Hospitality party on the 4th floor?
Haha...good for you. I mentioned the sweater name to one of the Ferrari workers when the sweater was near by. He smiled and chuckled a bit but seemed worried that someone saw his reaction.
I was right outside the VIP Suite when I took that picture - we sat at one of the chairs along the rail, just above the black and white seats.
That's wild! I had a cool surprise on the way home when it turned out that Rusty Wallace was on my connecting flight to Charlotte. I got to have a nice chat with him in line at the gate, and then he was in the row behind me on the plane. He said he was very impressed with the event and had a great time. Very cool guy!
out of 900 cars I liked these 3 the best. The P4 was amazing. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Mr. M told me a story about this car on the concours field. It was stolen, stripped, recovered about 7 years later. Owned by him twice and now restored. This told after I asked him about it as it too caught my eye. Image Unavailable, Please Login
