The rear light is smashed on right side, you are YELLING in the entire add, errors in spelling... Then you say prices are going up on these cars, they have flattened out my friend quite a bit. You are asking is not completely left field but given the fact it probably needs a clutch and the belts have not been changed in some time...almost 7 years. You make it out to be GTG, but it's far from it.
When I called on this car, I was told that all services have been completed ...thought it looked great and would share...It is not my listing sir
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Price seems a little excessive but then again it seems everyone wants a GTB.
Very nice of you pissing on someone's add. If you have nothing good to say then better not say anything.
What a beauty! GLWS I don't get why people find the need to post negative comments on someone's classified ad. It's truly amazing. Nothing better to do I guess. I did the OP a favor and reported that negative comment to the mods.
The red interior is a very nice contrast to the white body. However, they are not Daytona seats, as described. The pattern is correct for that year though. I love the stacked gauges on the centre console.
That does not need to be suspect. My car also had its speedometer changed (these things can break too). It is fully documented and I also have the original speedometer. But then again: most mileages of these cars are suspect if it is not backed up by loads of documents from the year it was built until today. So I would just look at the condition of the car.
Do not forget: PRO: The GTBi is very rare, only 494 cars produced White over red is a very nice combo and rare too The seats have been a special order, because not totally red but with a black stripe and piping. CONTRA: Euro-Mirrors , Euro-Exhaust (no grille) on an US Car with an incorrect Speedometer look a little bit tinkered. IMO the 16" Wheels don't look original nor fitting.
Full black rocker panels, whereas they should be half black / half body color (limit between the two at the crease in the middle); black lower front spoiler? Rgds
That is why I said "suspect" and not wrong. Not everyone does that, though: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/476488-lets-look-some-pictures-same-308-31-years-later.html Mileage on these things are usually off based on the sending units failure rate anyway but when I see a different speedometer, I think it is best to look a little deeper.
very late 79 to late 81 or early 82 had 85 MPH speedometers. Federal law. Many were changed as far back as 33 years ago by the owners. I have a photos of other cars I took myself when I was a teenager that shows this even then. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/322953-vintage-pictures-i-took-308s-1981-1997-a.html
Buying a used Italian car with the wrong speedo is risky at best.... buying one from Florida is really spinning the chamber. But at 87K, is it really for sale anmyways? Great color combo thoiugh, gorgeous.
