There was one in Oregon rusty and had been sitting for years . Private collection. . Is that the one? If so I would not pine.

Ben - this was my old car - I owned it til 17 years ago - for 10 previous years - went to auction to potentially buy it back - was bid to £24500 plus 10% fee (fee plus 20%VAT). 4 owners since me - 10000 extra miles on clock in 17 years. Interior had been changed since my ownership - not done well, rust bubbles in many places - needs a respray, fuseboard showing the usual fuel pump connector signs, engine lid struts and boot struts U/S, bottom of boot rusted out, covered with sheet metal, non original coolant tank, shields added, sports exhaust non original, shield added to oil cap, door handles pitted, engine reportedly had been rebuild but didnt look like any part had been cleaned before putting back on - didnt get to see bills of who did it - spoke briefly to vendor - a dealer who had it for a month or so... i took a photo for posterity....
on top - fees would be approx £2940 including VAT, grand total £27440 (ish) - thats not so far off 1981 list if i recall correctly...
Only 2867 miles. Tempted to go see it, just to see what they looked like new! Ferrari Mondial 3.2 QV Cabriolet
Thank you! wow so if I get this right it's £25,000 Purchase Price + £2,500 (10% fee) ------- £27,500 (Final Purchase price) + £5,500 (20% VAT) ------- £33,000 (Grand Total) That's $41,560 USD Not bad for an 8.
Not quite Paul. Purchase Price + fee + VAT on the fee only = total. It's not VAT x (purchase price + fee) = total.
What a wonderfully honest advert! 1982 Ferrari Mondial Ferrari Mondeal Quattrovalvole for Sale | Classic Cars for Sale UK
Got it! Thank You for the clarification!!! So if I get this right it's £25,000 Purchase Price + £2,500 (10% fee) ------- £27,500 (Final Purchase price) + £500 (20% VAT on 10% fee) ------- £28,000 (Grand Total) That's $35,577 USD That sound right about right!
NO - the VAT is only applied to the fee - my quoted £27k was the total including fees and the vat on the fees.
Look at the prices of the other Mondial's listed below the "Rusty" bucket (Also, you gotta dig the moss growing on the airbox). 1986 £43,950 1985 £59,950 1982 £34,995 1989 £49,995 1990 £48,000 Sid
