    Very classy colour combo, congrats!

Can I ask if your build/delivery was on schedule as I have an expected March delivery.

You're very kind...couldn't hope for a better reaction. Choices inspired by looking at many combos on FChat, which is one of the things that makes this place so great. As you know, you go thru so many choices in your head...should it have louder calipers (I went with Silverstone), should the interior be sport or lux, more CF or add the extra silver trim, patch of alcantara here or there, etc. In the end, I'm just relieved when it shows up not looking repulsive!

Thanks. Build was pretty much as expected. I ordered the last few days of July, confirmed a November build in September. It was completed about 2 weeks ago. I'm in the US, so normally would take another 6 weeks or so for water transport and clearing at the port, but this time I went for the air transport option. I'm guessing that in the UK they have it to you by truck transport within a couple of weeks of completion?

Awesome ! My favorite exterior color and I love the subdued black brake calipers. Drive it in good health.

Great approach but I know what you mean. There is always that moment of self doubt.

Looks great, and I think the door panels always look fantastic with the alcantara insert nad trim. Congratulations.

Many thanks, I must confess to feeling a bit smug on the inner door choice. The price for that thin strip of metal alongside the alcantara seems a little silly but it sure does have a disproportionate effect...glad I sprung for it. On the other hand, I did the rear shelf in matching alcantara and I feel leather would have been a better choice. Not a big deal.

Looks great! I look forward to seeing the rest of the details of your Iroko cabin, and reading your compare/contrast driving impressions against your V-8s. Congratulations!

The car looks mean even at a rough New York City garage. Unfortunately got a nail in the rear left yesterday, at least the tires are cheap ... not.

Wheel and tire insurance from Ferrari was not that expensive.

I did retried my "investment" on my 991s, with one wheel cracked and 4 flat tires over 2 years.

I use high quality tire plugs for simple punctures. The leather kind with the dark brown unbelievably sticky sealant. Don't ream two wide through the belts, use plenty of solvent to lubricate, set them in deep and cut flush. Permanent, safe, reliable fix and in many cases don't even have to remove the tire. Keep the small kit in the car and only worry about side punctures.

Are the rear tires still new or with lots of tread left?

Interesting...makes me want to grab some beef jerky.

Of course, it's best to get it both plugged and patched on the inside. With just the plug, you might want to limit how fast and heavy you push the car...Sure don't want to get a blow-out at high speed. Also don't just patch it because the moisture can travel up and rust the steel belts in the tire and lead to tire failure.

However, the kit does provide a good solution at a pinch so at least you can get the car to tire service, instead of dumping those gooey green sealing mess inside the tire.

Yes. The AD always claims "these tires shouldn't be repaired", is that so they can sell me a new tire for $704 plus tax?

Given that you are channeling 730 bhp through them maybe its not a bad thing to be on the safe side :)

Once a tire has a puncture, the discretion in pushing the related vehicle to the limit would be highly limited even if properly repaired.
