I bought this interesting large 1:5 drawing from January 1972 of the Ferrari 308 GTB. Interesting that Ferrari started constructing this follow-up model of the Dino 246 GT as early as 1971 and called it internally "Dino GT/8"!
Does anybody know what "Figubino" means? Alberto, you might know :)

In Latin Figu bino would translate as "two figures" so possibly a reference to the two views depicted of plan and overhead of the chassis?

Figubino isn't really an Italian word, probably a mistake made by the draftsman and never corrected.

It should be "figurino", which hasn't a direct English translation but could be conveyed as illustrative/demonstrative drawing or sketch. Here depicting the mecanicals and their dimensions, presumably to aid in designing the bodywork.

A friend of mine had an early glass 308. The manufacturer's plate in the engine department said Dino.

Fcar should call the new Dino (not going to happen anyways!) the GT/8.

Super cool drawing. Maybe this was the chassis idea for the rainbow concept? That looked a lot like a gt4 but it was a 2 seater right?

There's a pic somewhere of a bunch of early 308 GTB prototype parts showing the front clip with a Dino badge..

Figurino has many meanings in Italian:
    1. Drawing
    2. Person dressed in most exquisite fit, i.e. Savile Row bespoke suits.
    3. A compliment to the way a person's clothing fits

In the Blueprint you have, the 'R' is stylized by the artist to the point of appearing a 'B'

Matthias, lovely Figurino you got there :)

    Regards, Alberto

Ferrari 308 with a Dino logo are out there as they transitioned out of the Dino marque to avoid re-certification. See the Dino 308GTB R&T review in "Dino The little Ferrari" p298 by Doug Nye.

There's a 308GTB with a Dino badge? I don't think so.. I used to own this book. The only picture I've ever seen is the picture posted on this thread..
