I have bought my 360 Spider in November 2014. The car was very reliable since, with just one issue occurring early this year: the dreaded Slow Down message. There was a significant power loss accompanied by this message (cut off of one of the cylinder banks). Based upon the knowledge in this forum (thanks!) and elsewhere, I concluded that one of the Cat ECUs must be the culprit (#179278: Catalyst Temperature Control Station). It turned out that the right Cat ECU was the faulty one in my case (based upon a trial and error approach, not having a SD2). Swapping the ECU is just a matter of a few minutes.

Being of a curious nature I was wondering about the insides of this box. Have a look at the pictures. To my best knowledge, it is a quite simple signal converter that converts the temperature based resistance of the thermocouple in each Cat into a voltage (more information to be found on www.aldousvoice.com).
So why do you pay the price of a small LED TV for this little box? I guess the equation goes like this: price = approx. 10% production cost + 90% Ferrari tax. But the 360 being such an awesome car, it is the best tax I have ever paid :)

Those things are always a problem. Contact Daniel at Ricambi for the new Gothspeed version. :)

I wonder who the subcontractor was for the part..? Delphi? Bosch? that's alot of circuitry for a simple signal....

Damn bro, I nervously opened this thread hoping to find. "and if you connect a wire between these two thingies you will never see that alarm again".

Ah well, at least Dave told me something I didn't know about before (the Godspeed version). Yeah, I know I spelt it incorrectly.

Used to work in Electronic manufacturing. There is nothing proprietary on that board at all. Probably about 5-10 bucks worth of parts built to a Class 1 standards...thats whats putting a $150k car down for the count...

I remember someone working on a 'fix' on the 355 Forum. Not sure how far they got.
    I bought a 360 instead.
