How much can i expect to knock off a used 458

Hi All

Since my last post "parking a ferrari outside a good idea?" iv had my front garden turned into a driveway with a wall, electric gate and CCTV.

Now im currently in the "UK" market for a used 458 of which i am looking at 2 this weekend which are both with main dealer and priced at £160k, one is at Brooklands Ferrari and the other at Meridian Marranello.

As one of the salesmen told me this is there quietest time of the year for selling cars what realistically should i be offering them if i decide i want the car?

Any ideas on there profit margins on there used 458s?

This is my first F car adventure so i have no experience/relationships with Ferrari main dealers, what would you current Ferrari drivers expect to haggle off the car?

I think you are up in the South East, but before you pull the trigger, I would shop around. I would suggest giving Mark Tregenna a call at Carrs Ferrari in Exeter. They have a couple of 458s in, and as a dealership, they are one of the smaller Ferrari ones, but I would 100% recommend them, really good honest personal service.

Hi Michael thanks for that, Im from Manchester but dont mid traveling to find the right car, l will have a scan on these website now, Im currently looking on Auto trader, Piston heads and eBay so not sure if Carrs will advertise on any of them as might have already seen what they have in stock.

I have seen this one in the flesh, if I'm correct it was a factory collection car by the couple that owned it, they live local in Exeter and have an order in on a 488, the car is very very tidy. I'm sure you could get a deal on it..

@greyboxer = No not the green one, id end up with that until im a pile of ashes in a jar. Its the Rosso with Nero roof.

@100badboy100 = I have seen that one online, Well priced, 1 owner and good milage, the only downside for me is there is no carbon LED wheel. Is that me being fussy or does most people want a LED wheel?

 

That is one of the reasons why I ordered a new 488, so I could have it exactly how I wanted it...

If you want to look at the one in Exeter let me know, I'm happy to pick you up from the airport it's only 45 mins on the plane, and take you down to the garage and introduce you and take it out for a spin and see if you like it...I'm not sure but I reckon it is with them on sale or return, and you would be able to get a deal on it...

New I would def get the wheel

S/H I would be more concerned with who owned it and how it was maintained and the overall condition etc....

Get the LED wheel. Plenty of 458's out there. Good luck!
