2015 F12

My 599 went to a new home a few weeks ago and I am going to see an F12 on Monday. I have driven one and they are in my opinion the most sensational road cars made!

Two questions:

1) What should come with the car? I believe manuals, 2 keys, battery tender, car cover (seat and steering wheel covers?), tool kit, flashlight. All those items came with the 599 but the F12 may be different.

2) The selling dealer is telling me that you can't measure the clutch wear on the dual clutch transmissions. Is that correct?

You are correct on both points above. I have a 2015 and its a wonderful car. Best of luck.

No flashlight anymore I think.
Make sure you get a fitted car cover as these a no longer available.
You should have a funny funnel in the tool kit for refilling with fuel from a can. The new fuel caps can only be opened with this or a fuel nozzle.

 

If one is to be pedantic (and I suppose I am), the car also came with a model version - a complete duplicate with the VIN plate attached to the display box. Oddly enough, the model of my 2nd F12 had the wrong wheels..

You will love the F12! There is also a card with a security number on it. If pre-owned, sometimes this is missing along with the wheel and seat covers. No flashlight as was said. The tool kit is built into the back floor. Not a lot of useful tools and includes an air pump with a canister of sealant I believe.

 

The year and the mileage plus even the paint color and interior trim combination play a strong role in the value of an F12. Shift lights on the steering wheel are very popular and the race seats are particularly nice. The F12's slightly smaller size and the new transmission are noticeable improvements compared with the older 599 series. Shop and compare plus consider an extended warranty. Happy hunting for an F12!

 

I bought the F12! CA car with 7k miles, one owner. Very pleasant buying experience with Ferrari of Newport Beach. Now I will have to be patient while it makes its way across the country.

call the dealer where the car was originally ordered and sold out of. I picked up my 2017 F12 in October. They said the model would be in in about 1 year.

It is TDF Blue. Not many around.

 

I bought the car from the original selling dealer. He is going to try to get it.

 

I took a quick trip form CT to CA to see it in person. It was exactly as described by Chris at Ferrari Newport Beach
