doesnt really look like a car (let alone a Ferrari) that has hit 6 or 7 people does it ?

The windshield is badly caved in on the left side. That's pretty consistent with mowing down pedestrians.

Well if you read the story it said 5 were treated and released. That means they had band aids applied. Yes, the look of the car is consistent with one serious injury and any number of minor injuries. Those bumpers can easily break bones and not have a scratch. The person who bounced off the windshield could be very seriously hurt. Unfortunately I have witnessed a few car/pedestrian accidents. Damage to the car is not even always noticeable, damage to people is another matter.

The headlight on what looks to be the impact side also appears to be damaged.

Pure speculation; but I would not be surprised if the people in the Range Rover were actually filming the Ferrari rather than racing it? From the description in the press the Ferrari did a U turn so presumably was doing a few runs up and down the same spot? Also were the pedestrians standing watching the Ferrari do the runs up and down and perhaps filming it themselves?

"The Ferrari struck the person at the beginning of the railings and sent them about 40-50 feet in the air and into the windscreen of a car parked down below."

    Not good.

For all the electronic gizmos a damp patch can still catch anyone out.

Typical pistonheads, '458 scud'. The least knowledgable and least friendly car site there is. Lots of Brits fuelled with jealousy rather than a love of cars on that site, bet they love it

I on the other hand hope the car can be repaired okay

General gassing is full of ****s. The supercar section has a few nice people in it but it's fairly inactive. Also plenty of ****s.

Plenty of snobbery and people who think they know more/are better than others here though

They tend to bang on about mustard, or custard, a lot, so they must be a pretty hungry lot, and they actually hate fast cars and speed! Pistonheads?, more like Miss Daisyheads...... hehehehe.

Fchat is a way better site, shame Brits don't seem to really bother

A Ferrari hitting a crowd is of course a lot more interesting than if it was a tuned VW Golf GTI.... had it been a youngster in a Golf it would only be a short story, now it is a millionaire in a Ferrari.

Would the coppers confiscate the car ? And jail the driver ?
