Hi All, Time to sell my f355. It is a 95 car with 17k miles. It has some documentation with it dating back to 2012. Prior to this it was sold by a reputable dealer in atlanta so further records may be available. It has a rebuilt title due to a small right front fender hit (15k). with records of repair in hand. Unfortunately while in the custody of the insurance broker, all tools went missing and all books were lost It has only 17xxx miles, last engine out service was in late 2012. Since that point it has travelled under 1000 miles. It has the original factory headers with recent inspection showing no evidence of cracking. It has not had the dreaded valve job so I feel like this may be one of the 80% + cars that will never need an intervention. I has just had all fluids replaced and right side rad as well as repair of driver side bolster wear prior to hibernation. Interior is very clean, no stickies. Aftermarket alpine deck and amp with rear speaker removed as i need the space. This is a driver car not a concourse queen, but what a drive! I need 55k usd firm to make it work. Wow. What a deal!!! I'm so close to being able to afford this it's killing me that I cannot right now. GLWS!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes, we all need more than one. If I had the room and time this would be a done deal (already have 2). I'd love to have one to just rack up the miles to keep the miles of my others. GLWS, not that I think you will need it
Yeah I don't think you'll need much help with this sale, should be gone by Christmas. I'm selling my GTS so I can pick up a higher mileage Berlinetta and use it on the track too. If mine had sold by now I would have bought yours right away with that asking price.
Nice 355! A '95, gated manual, Berlinetta, black on tan. If I only had room for three of them... Hope she finds a happy home
I'm afraid I don't have any pics, but I do have a list of parts replaced and bodywork receipts. The damage was right front but as far as I'm aware the front bonnet and windshield are original. As such I suspect it was a low energy impact.
You can't bring a salvage title car into the U.S. I know some who learned this the hard way. It's still best to check maybe the laws have changed but i don't think so.
This is not a salvage title car, it is a rebuilt title. I believe it will be subject to inspection on arrival and should be registerable post. As stated previously, the repair of the car is fully documented. I will try to find documentation to this effect.
Salvage and rebuilt is the same thing. In the U.S they call it salvage in Canada we call it rebuilt. Trust me i got a great offer for my rebuilt stick Murcielago in U.S funds but U.S would not let the car in.I know what i'm talking about.
It was originally hit in the us and sold as a repairable vehicle in Atlanta. It was repaired in canada, Not sure how this affects. However I think the comment re Canadian salvage vehicles is correct.
