Humm, the 750 looks almost identical to the 250 Monza....so basicly it's pretty useless, the "mouth" on the 750 in completly diferent, much more open...they just picked an older mold and called it another thing....that's a new low for CMF.
I like the 250 and maybe will get it someday because that one does look correct...as for the 857 i have to look as i don't remenber the real car.

Anyone want to guess who will release the new J50 Ferrari in 1:18 scale first? Would it be BBR, or MR Models? I also wonder if and when, how limited it will be to us all (limited to 10)?

Here's a picture of the 857. As for the 750 Monza there are several versions as well as some 500 Mondials that look almost the same. I haven't found a picture of #16 yet, but #15 looks a lot like the CMF model with the smaller air intake.

Does the basket handle/rollover bar look wrong to you guys? Either too high, or not long enough? I can't decide.

Yes, it looks a bit odd...and it doesn't seem to attach very well to the body!! Both BBr and Looksmart will release this model ( the interior will be a lot better for sure) and the price will be identical to the Tecnomodel so i will wait for one of those.

BBR will be releasing 1/18 Diecast cars (plural) with opening parts and will be showing them in the Nuremberg Toy Fair.

First they showed is the F12TdF which looks amazing.

That will be fantastic (i mean the fact that the model will have opening parts and not sealed like previously).

This morning I received the 1/18 Looksmart Lamborghini Miura Geneva show car (LSMH01). I had forgooten that this car had a glass rear window, rathern than the normal black slats.

The engine on the model (seen through the window) looks very simple and crude and out of keeping with the overall appearance of the model. Does anyone know what could be seen on the real car - a photo perhaps?

    Thank you.

    John

In response to my request, you said that this model was to be made by Tecnomodel.

I have been in touch with them and they say they have no plans to make this. Was it another manufacturer?

I think it looks good and would like to add it to my collec tion.

    Thanks

    John

Sorry John, iwent back and realized i made a mistake when i replied to you....i was talking about the 312p when i said it would be made by tecnomodel, i believe you were asking about the superamerica? That one was anounced by CMF...and you can't contact them because nobody really knows who they are!!

Probably late 2017 release. I'm surprised that BBR never produced 1:18 models of this. It looks like GTS has finally stepped up their game a little by using separate photo etch window trim instead of the cheap printed silver on the windows. Yay!

On a personal note, I really hope that GTS adds another color, a little less mainstream than the oh-so predictable resale red - auction red - arrest me red. Maybe metallic gray, blue, burgundy......

These wheels look a lot better than the usual Tecnomodel wheels. I've seen the Tecnomodel 250 P in real life and the wheels on that model don't look right (I think the rims are too plain, missing one step/lip).
