Any one deal with this guy? Completely unprofessional in his tactics from my experience. Bottom feeder that likes to low ball and hopes to steal the car. Wasted a lot of my time...

Complete mis described car and very unprofessional way of doing business. No business ethics and showing off his money by telling his is a multi Millioner. A very big headed nasty person. Anyone dealing with him please be aware of his behavior.

I have had numerous transactions with Peter over the past 8 years. He has always been a straight shooter. He has always been extremely professional. I have experienced nothing but excellent communication from start to finish, not to mention that he quickly consummates the transaction.

I've dealt with Peter plenty of times. He's fair, to the point, and not afraid to put his money up if the car merits it.

People get so twisted around the axles about this business. The end results is to make money, and if you can do it, be successful, yet fair and ethical, then more power to you. Peter's been easy to deal with, and if the deal doesn't make sense, he'll just tell you.

Peter is as good a guy to deal with in this business as you are going to get.
    Straight forward and honest.
I must of brought from / sold to Peter 10 cars in the last few years.
    Never a problem.

I've dealt with him a couple times. They know very little about most of the cars they have, understandably so as they have a lot and there is just no way to be an expert on every one of them. I would never buy a car from them sight unseen. If you buy something from them, expect the worst but hope for the best, but usually the aforementioned is case more often than not. One thing is for certain, I would never sell them a car nor even take a call from them to sell a car.

Well let's see. Offers me a number, says I have till Noon to except. I didn't. Week later I ask if he is still interested. He says sure. Offers $55,000 less now. Seriously who does that? Just say no not interested and we all move on. I could never do that to another seller...

Geno, what is the car in question?

I ask, because some cars have been strange lately, one moment it makes sense, then a few days later, that particular model might "no-sale" at an auction, and that sends potential buyers away in their valuations.

Not making an excuse for that type of behavior, just curious. You can PM if you care to mention.

I have bought and sold plenty of cars to peter through the years (I'm also local to him). Straight shooter, and best in the business, no games. And he pays lightening quick!

Much like many other Ferrari & exotic dealers, he too has served some time behind bars. C'mon guys, they're used car dealers. Why do the stereotypes exist. It's not accurate all the time, but more often than not

+1 absolutely. My advice is to not call with questions regarding any car as they simply do not know, or if they claim to know do not trust their assessment as it's consistently wrong. Only call if you have a number prepared and want to buy.

I have only dealt with him once, on two "project" Ferraris.
As hard to sell as they are to buy, truthfully.....everyone sees something different.

We agreed on a price, the money was wired to me that day, and I mailed the paperwork from my side the next.

I see no problems, but I did not go looking for any.
So my experience = money was smooth.

    Hi All,

I really appreciate every one's comments and information about their experience working with Gullwing Motor Cars . I wanted to update every one on how things ended. I have to take back what I said in my initial post. Cooler heads prevailed and I must admit that once we talked things out the rest of the transaction was extremely smooth and professional! I also noticed that most folks had a good experience working with Gullwing. I wanted to set the record strait that I am very happy with how things ended!

    1968 Ferrari 330GTC -

Black period license plates from Rome do not belong to this car, they are from November 1962.

Hi Marcel I am very close on completing 1391GT. I plan on using that plate on it.

    Thank you,

Geno, if you don't mind me asking, what were you looking to sell?

    WHAT?

You started this thread, a lot of people got riled up, and then . . . he's your best buddy now?

So, he threatened to sue you or to break your kneecaps, or what?

Or, had you simply had too much of Mrs. Olsen's Ovaltine when you first posted?
