great for the buyer. the xe is a very nice car in 340hp trim. the alfa should be a great car as well. I think a lease may be the way to get into a QF. let's see what the lease looks like? at least we finally have pricing!
Whens the last time BM or anybody sold their cars at full retail? lol Incentives are part of the game!
I think most cars in the class are made to lease; the cost of maintaining these cars as they get older can be quite frightening, especially unknown quantities like the XE and the Guilia. 2 buddies of mine own junkyards-if you want to see how well a car is made you need to take them apart; according to both of them the last good "Big bodied benz" was the W140 and the last good Big BMW was the E38; point is that the build quality may look good initially but they got more plasticky, etc on the parts you don't see (window regulators). I hope they both succeed.
Evo's performance car of the year summed up, the Giulia outguns the C63 S, M4 GTS and M2. The BMW's actually ranked quite low. Well done Alfa Romeo!.......no silly mention of soft touch plastics. Ironically though, the AMG had previously won a comparison between the Alfa, M3 and AMG.......gotta love the credibility of British journalism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxthzMs_M-M Rankings can be found at 26:02
Good...I hope they will need a lot more than that by spring 2017!! By the way, not a good time to launch a sporty car again, just like they did with the 4C launch in the dead of winter. Unless you live in the southern hemisphere or tropics December is not the best car shopping month.
Someone down in Southern California posted a photo on Twitter of a Quadrifoglio https://twitter.com/erikvaldez/status/811305448645148672
heritage fiat alfa romeo is listing a qf for sale on cars dot com. monte carlo blue for $84k. that is the first I have seen advertised. I guess they are making their way in.
This is correct, and some new manuals are truly bad, being poorly enginered in terms of shift feel shift pattern and clutch takeup.
A few American dealers have received the initial shipment of QV's. The base models should be available sometime in January. The Stelvio Q will have AWD and 505hp. It seems there will be a 350hp AWD version as well, maybe released at the Detroit auto show.
if I end up buying a QF, I will likely go with a base version. I may go for seats but don't require the carbon brakes. I want to pay no more than $75k. will it be leasable? will there be a discount on a low low mile used car? will there be a CPO program? what will the warranty look like for a new car vs. a CPO?
I can't predict the future but I'm assuming it will mirror what Maserati currently offers in terms of warranty, interest rates and CPO.
I never thought they would lease the 4C but they did. So at some point they will lease this too. Right now they just want the cash.
You won't find one without the carbon brakes, they simply aren't building them without even though it is an"option". Availability will be very limited, if you 1st find a dealer that will sell it to you if you don't live in their area. 2nd if your lucky enough maybe you'll find a dealer that doesn't charge over MSRP. Warranty will be 4/50.
Leasing is just another form of financing, you could always lease a 4C, it was just a matter of if it was advantageous or not.
Not true. When I bought mine there was no leasing program and the dealer said he thought they may never have one on a low production car. They didn't have one for about a year after the car was introduced. Leasing is based on resale residual values. New cars are hard to determine what it will be worth 3 years later.
