    Same to you Dave.

    Thank you.

Had this one a little over a year.

    So not really new.

However, Santa was gracious enough to find me an authentic bezel replacement for this watch.

Took him a full year to locate. I am happy to get this my stocking!

    :D Yup! I'm not a Daytona expert, but IIRC, that's a 6263, produced from early 70s to mid 80s.

    Yes, it's a 6263, dating to about 1978.

I classify it as a better than average driver!

The bezel has a few dings and cracks in the insert have bugged me from day one. Finally found a replacement that is about the same quality as the rest of the watch. Looking forward to having our friends in California mount it for me after the holidays.

    Thank you Sir.

cwilson13—"Yes, it's a 6263, dating to about 1978." Well you have me by 2 years on my GMT Master that I bought new in 1980 while just a wee lad. I will feature it in my next contribution to this thread!

What a foolish remark by me. I am so enamored with the new Daytonas I'm seeing them in my sleep.

(said in a humerus tone) Oh we're going to play the age game? Pfffft! Well then, I regularly wear a few from the 1940's and half a dozen times a year wear one from the 20's. :D

Thanks for showing some of your fine examples gents! Merry Christmas all!

You're just too classy to say out loud what we're all thinking...."Holy crap that's nice!"
