I have the same color combo (Silverstone and Cuoio), but with black wheels on my 612 HGTS. Speaking of Snow, this is how my car arrived in Charlotte (NC), after being purchased from California, almost 3 years ago... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Shiv, Yes we should! I'll send you a note to do that on the next one. Richard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just completed, paint correction, all exterior and interior surfaces ceramic coated. Full frontal, front and rear quarters, mirror housings and doors clear bra'd. New, from the factory, 599 GTO wheels, installed with fresh Michelin MPSS tires. Thank you Nick, owner of "A Buff and Beyond Detailing", in New Jersey, for your attention to detail and outstanding, 5+ star customer service. This was not a "local" job, over 200 miles roundtrip! Well worth the effort for the "beyond expected" results. This "project" took almost 5 months to complete, considering the 4 month wait for the GTO wheels to arrive. That is why I chose this particular forum, because now, these are my new "favorite 599 Photographs". Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great! 255 in the front? If I were you I would consider HGTE springs to lower the car a little. Looks better IMHO!
Thank you, 599 GTO setup, 285 up front. As far as the suspension, untouched. The car hasn't "settled" yet, a few break-in miles should do the trick.
Let me know how the car behaves. I have 255 in the front (same as the F12). I had the HGTE springs and have now replaced with H&R. The car is glued to the road but obviously very stiff!
Joe, thank you for your kind words. I've always look forward to your postings. Your 599 is an outstanding example of this model and one of the reasons I purchased this car.
What "clear bra" material/brand etc did you use? I'm getting new paint on my 612 and what it similarly protected.
This is my 2004 612 F1A in rosso scuderia at the Glashutte in the Vosges mountains in Eastern France today - off home tomorrow but have 10 hours of French Autoroute in a Ferrari and several hours of the twelfth man downloaded to my mp3... marvellous! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Has to be a very rare color for the 612. Looks great. Cannot see them very well, but looks like the calipers may be Rosso Scuderia, too, unless I am looking at a reflection.
Thanks for the comments. Yes the callipers are colour matched, as is the detail on the dash which is a nice touch! As far as I know there are a total of six worldwide in rosso scuderia, two of which are right hand drive... mine and another reputedly in Japan. Pics attached - thanks again!
