Sea Sucker Komodo work fine thus far. https://www.seasucker.com/products/komodo Tested with a "heavy" steel bike up to triple digit speeds. Front wheel goes in the front trunk. That's looks great! Hard to believe the suction holds so well. I'd rather put the suction cups on the glass any day. [emoji1303]
No. Thank. You. Wouldn't want to get my seats all sweaty after the ride either. All in all, it would make driving the car seem too utilitarian.
A hard core rider, testing with an old bike and with a campy plate holder on the 360. I wouldn't Put that on my 360, but who cares what I would do - Let's see a picture of the bikes!
No, just the pic from a local C&C. However, looking at the SeaSucker website the Talon model is similar for less than 1/3rd the cost of the Komodo model. Not sure what the Komodo offers other than artistic styling (for an extra $1000).

Thanks, yeah, the price tag is a little over the top on the Komodo, I thought too, and liked the simpler design of the other.
I'll be that guy...hinges, latch, hatch structure...none of it was designed for that type of stress and as we all know it's made to be about a light as possible so there you go. Other than that, seems like a good solution if you keep the speeds down. Lastly, I'd mount it to the glass as opposed to the roof...those suction cups can deform thin sheetmetal...as me how I know.
I used the Seasucker rack, albeit not on a Ferrari. While the design is great, every time you hit a big bump there is just too much anxiety of wondering if your bike has flown off the car or is about to. As the price of your bike goes up, so does this worry.
So true! I carry my old Trek Madone on the roof of my car without a worry in the world. When I've got my Pinarello (and my son's Pinarello) on the roof, I drive like an old granny, regardless of how secure the mount.
Sort of like at the track, wondering whether the five go-pro's handing off the car in front of you will soon come flying back into your windscreen.
There was a guy that I used to run the VA City Hillclimb with that had a bike rack on his 512TR. I like this Gallardo, set up for camping. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Do you mount bike on rack then place on car/window? (..that is a cool rack..) (...I like saying that without being in trouble..) 😉RE
