Scud. is a better car overall it has better power , better track car, faster shifting , more raw looking , better brake system ,lighter car , better Air dynamics, better sounded engine, you don't need the belt service every other year at $4,000 a pop, it has newer F1 technology Manettino Ediff set up and the list goes on , Scuderia is a beauiful car it has everything a CS wish it had
^ Coming from the guy whos screen name is scuderia.. I'm not surprised haha. The only thing the Scud has over the CS is performance and when it comes down to future collectabily, it doesn't mean much. Everything else, CS wins hands down I wouldn't brag about performance.. pretty much every ferrari after Scud is quicker..458,488 f12.. what are you left with now? These cars are getting old and the CS attributes will have a more lasting impression as time passes. Will be more legendary... Also Scud weighs 3200 and the CS is around 2800lbs, more rare, raw, + ridiculous sound etc.. we all know the rap sheet. The cam belt service every 3-5 years will run you $400 parts + $500 labor here in SoCali (indie) not bad at all. I know many of us will say I would own both cs + scud, I think they are too similar and would opt for CS and a 458 Italia. Best of both worlds just my opinion And for the people that say I don't care about collectibility. The OP wanted the best investment of the two w/o being in the red. U know my choice
if you had your facts correct, Scuderia weight is 2700lbs. if you like to know your getting your cars mix up, the Scud. out perform and shifts and tracks and sound and even looks better then any CS out there i don,t know whos back yard your getting a belts and bearing job service done for $900.00, the Scud. will eat up any CS just like it does to a Enzo on a track you should check the Rap sheet lol...........
The scud weighs more than 2700 lbs, closer to 3,000 lbs dry. Regardless I would take a scud in a minute over a CS. I would always want the better car as I would be driving it and the scud is at another level. There isn't much of difference between a std 360 and a CS performance wise. Some mild tweaks and you are right there. I know people want to believe otherwise and let them - it doesn't matter. Prices on both cars will fluctuate up and down over time.
I tip my hat to the scuderias performance but mostly everything else is subjective, styling, sound etc. But u can't deny the CS is more rare though! Try and dig up the scuderia market thread vs the CS market. See for yourself, CS 1 million views vs scuds few thousand.. which one do you think is the fan favorite with more global appeal? Hmmm? 🤔
Not sure that's correct. I've never read/ heard anyone saying a scud is lighter than a CS. Scud is 3000 -3200 dry vs 2800 cs
Most certainly stock but easily rectified only thing is that you don't get that exclusivity with a CS.
I take it u have never driven both a 360 and a CS? I've owned all 4 and the 430 is closer to the scud than the 360 is to the CS.
not sure what ur talking about? % increase in hp for CS from 360 was greater than that of scud from 430. Maybe you are the one based in hype and not facts?
About 5% each claimed, hardley anything but that isn't a big deal, of course it is the driving characteristics which I believe as I stated is easily obtainable with some mods.
ok. well in the spirit of the OP - the CS has a cult like following and the Scud has a bunch of owners who love it. after having owned both, i only own the CS today
Scud for driving, CS for collecting. All the CS cars I've seen are typical garage queens and their owners are all hoping they will be worth $$$ some day. Scud owners seem to be a bit different in that they actually drive their cars, many also track them. I know this is a generalization and may not apply to everyone, but this has been my observation based on the many owners I've met. I own a scud now but if I were to buy another Fcar, CS would be high on my list. I wouldn't sell my scud though.
Having owned a CS for 10 years, there were no repairs. Nothing broke. All I had were the major services and annual oil changes. Minimal maintenance for the CS
Incorrect - but not by much. Stop using Wikipedia as a source...or whatever you Canadians use. According to Ferrari SpA these are the dry weights - Stradale - 2,601 Scuderia - 2,775 See - Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2007) - Ferrari.com Ferrari Challenge Stradale (2003) - Ferrari.com
Between us, if I had a CS I would never sell it but feel the same way about the Scuderia. Both are incredible and we are unlikely to see anything built like these again. I guess my point is that the performance is trivial.
^ Yup! Fact remains CS is lighter... this dude doesn't even know basic specs between the two cars and wants his input to be taken seriously. Someone turn his mic off lol I wasn't sure the exact weight but knew CS is lighter.. basic stuff
Well someone said the scud. 3400 which is complete BS i said about 2700lbs. well this dude said the Scud. will clean up any CS anytime on a track it need more then 100lbs. lighter to get even close to a scud. CS is old school grap and old techology and it will alway be that , the Scud. has everything a CS wish they had close your Mic off dude,
