    Is the owner a member? some subtle differences to the production car I spotted in the pics.

    Stuarts Paint and Body | Ferrari f40

    Seems they were also the company who did the work to the gas monkey black f40

    Are those old pictures? It was originally Ferrari of Ontario that restored this F40.

    Looks to have been Federalised at some point in the past in those pics?

    I guess like the 288s its now been put back to original.

    C, forgive me if I'm mistaken but I belive these images are from @ 1989 when this Prototipo F40 was used by the works as a Tipo USA prototype/development car.

    I also think the images from Stuart's Paint & Body are from @ 6 years ago.

    I think its 74049.

    Great thread, I missed that one when I had a trawl and yes you posted those same pics from Stuarts back in 2010 :)

    Yes thank you Joe; that one was eventually sold at auction to much fanfare as I recall!

    Still don't know where the Cavallino magazine cover car prototype 73015 went to...
    Also the prototype F40 I call the 'picture car' for it's pristine condition when shown to the press had no serial number visible. Joe you shared a picture of it in the auditorium with Enzo Ferrari and his chauffeur seen here arriving in 1987 with Piero Ferrari, Marco Piccinini plus the ever present Franco Gozzi>
