Anyone done this? It seems like a good upgrade.

I did it twice. First time with off the shelf camera and second time with the Ferrari infotainment system.

If I was to do it now and I did not have the infotainment system I would use a Bluetooth camera. Many types available off the internet. Search Bluetooth cameras.

I really like the built for Ferrari solution just because of the way it works.

I'm leaning toward the factory look also, but will check Bluetooth. Thanks.

Ran mine from deck to bumper without issue, just patience running the main wire back.
You can go down under centre console, then below carpet behind seat rails.
I made a small hole beside ebrake cable, that exits through floor. Wire runs between floor and bottom pan, fastened with zip tie to brake cable , then goes up into engine compartment running high (hidden)down drivers side to bumper. From there, thread through and with a small hole, wire exits above licence plate. I recall I did this in reverse starting at plate and forward.

Why not just turn your head and use your mirrors? Or it that too much work now-a-days..

I was fine until I got used to them in other vehicles and now it's just a nice thing to have.

Not really needed but that was not what the op asked.

With the top down, I can only see by the side mirrors & I like to see what is close, right behind me. Cameras really are a great improvement (on my newer cars). Thanks everyone for the inputs. They are really helping me. I will add one, but I'm still deciding which way to go.
