Noticed that, too - maybe the Goat's a little heavier (higher optioned?), and/or GM was cool w/division rivalry/shenanigans as long as it was ultimately at the expense of the Ford?

'65 327/375 fuelie, Numbers all match and it could be 1 of the 771 last fuelies produce for a mid year. Unfortunately no documents to go with it but who cares. The fun is in driving it like I stole it. Other is an all original '65 GTO convertible with 3 dueces in Irsis Mist.

    Great shots and car!
Strange how the Corvette world has evolved. Back in the day, the Corvette folks were always modifying and competing with their cars. Now, the C2 and C3 owners seem mainly concerned with pure stock cars, numbers and competitive parking.
Sometimes I think I'm the only one that still enjoys playing with the early cars.

Steve, they aren't as competitive but a lot easier to work on. I guess you have to have ties to the older cars. The exhaust note can't be duplicated.

Good to see lots of Firebirds in this thread. Here's ours: 1978 Trans AM with a 1973 Pontiac 455 under the hood. Has a aftermarket RAM air III profile cam, Edelbrock intake/Carb, 3.55 rear end, and a TREMEC 5-Speed Manual.

I'm also happy to see such love tor the Buick GN in this thread. My dad bought a 1987 new from Darby Buick in Sarasota, FL and that's were I learned to roast tires.

Didn't think that Chrysler offered a manual transmission in those days. Does it have a Hurst Dual Gate(automatic) shifter?

Just picked up a 2013 Raptor with 36k miles, one owner, traded in on a new 2017 EB Raptor.

Fully loaded, sync, nav, sunroof, heated and cooled seats.

    Very happy with it.

Since the Indy 500 is coming up, my 1969 Camaro Pace Car, numbers matching 396/4 speed/12 bolt rear end. One of 200 original 396/4 speed cars. Finished the restoration about a year and a half ago.
