Sweet! Been wavering on either waiting or putting in a commitment for it. Will definitely get one but have been waiting just in case they did go into a new direction and will need to iron things out the first year of production.

Always commit, its easy to delay or cancel as its all subject to contract but hard to speed up if not in the game !

Awesome, the forum is looking forward to the reports from Super Spy Challenge006.4 (slightly deprecated from 007). You need a spy camera.

    UK - 12 months after GTC so Q1 2018.

Chatted to dealer today about my GTC and 70th, all very slow at present for RHD.

Without being indiscreet (he is very professional) it is clear F12M is visually aggressive and very much along lines of our speculation. Power above Tdf but maybe not 800 as its a facelift not new model.

Heads of two main dealers in Germany both say 'above 800 PS'. I guess it will be 800bhp and 810hp/PS.

I've been told above 800HP also but more nuts/mind-blowing was the increase in torque (if true)!!!

No massive torque leap unless there was hybridisation of some sort which we know is not the case. A small boost in displacement etc will have an effect but surely not that much more unless they have broken the laws of physics!

Exactly. A huge gap in torque is the typical effect of Forced Induction or hybridization. Without that it's impossible.

The F12 hardly lacks torque either so any increase would be quite hard to notice I suspect!

I know 100% that while dealer principals were shown car in Daytona they were only told there will be a power increase and the figure was deleiberately not divulged. It seems strange that given such measures with their most senior dealers all these "sources" re over 800BHP are more than speculation.

In addition this is a facelift, GTC facelift was a small pick up, N/A extra BHP is hard to achieve and I guess TDF owners may have a view as the car has 4WS and is aggresive in stance so they say.

Guess am just saying we should be cautious about North of 800 !

Whatever - what is clear is this car is a BARGAIN. Imagine telling folks 20 years ago that you could buy the modern day 550 with 800 BHP approx, ceramics and 7 years servicing for approx the same money index adjusted. Mind blowing.

Agreed on all points. When I tried pointing out that the F12 was a performance bargain, I was castigated, so I wish you more luck.

On the power front, you are right, so much is supposition with no definites and whilst a small increase in capacity, 3%, must create more power, without resorting to some of the tdf technical achievements(race spec tappets etc) which give it its particular aggressive nature, logically you might assume that 770/780 might be more achievable given its GT role.

Take off the dealer margin, assume 12.5%, the VAT 20% in U.K. means Ferrari gets this car to the UK PRE options for say £175,000. That includes their profit ! No wonder so much emphasis on options.

My dealer has told me they make the equivalent of £30-35k (~currency conversion) on a new car with factory spec. Just his word. I'm sure there is a % figure as you say which makes more sense instead of a fixed $.
