I looked into buying that car, and had a PPI done.

I don't have the PPI report, but you can call Verex Auto of Miami and they might sell you a copy of the PPI for a few hundred dollars:

    Verex Auto
    3050 S.W. 38Th Court, Miami US-FL 33146
    (866)668-0660

    Ask for Wayne.

I did my PPI about 4 months ago, so it is possible the car has been worked on since that time. So you may want to get a new PPI done.

Just curious, if you commissioned and paid for the PPI, is it not yours alone, absent a specific agreement regarding sharing / distribution, such that Verex Auto could not "re-sell" a copy, whereas you might?

The PPI report is mine. I just don't know what I did with it. I ended up buying a 308, and I am keeping complete documents on the 308, but I discarded documentation on the other cars I was considering.

Also, since I did the PPI four months ago, it may be stale.

I think what he was saying was - since you paid it, if you call the shop who did the PPI for you and get the report, he might give the "couple hundred bucks" to you instead :)

    No prob for me.

If you think the ppi is independent. Why did you not buy the 328 ?
Because you wanted a 308 or was something wrong with the 328 ?

Honestly, I am not even sure if he prepared a PPI printed report.

I do recall that after he did his inspection, he called me and we talked for about 15 minutes.

Basically, I was looking for a 308. A 328 was my second choice.

And I was looking for something almost in concourse condition. This particular 328 was in "OK" condition.

So I put an offer on a really gorgeous 308. I had also put some offers on a couple of other 328s.

Meanwhile, I was investigating this 328.

Then, my offer on the 308 was accepted. I did not think twice. I jumped at it.

Curious what they are asking for their 328GTS. I have my '86 328GTS up for sale and I like to know what others are asking and they show no price.

Mine's a Platinum Award winner at the 2016 FCA Pasadena Concorso. Complete service records for the car since new with a belt service last year. High Auto Check score. Easy to deliver to and ship out of the Port of LA or Long Beach to Europe. I can send you information if interested. Just send me a PM.

Curious as to what you are asking for your car. I too have a 328 for sale. Activity on this model seems to have cooled.

I "Officially" have it For Sale at $82,500 however I have let it be known that I will let it go to a good home for $73,000. First Cashiers check or Wire brings her home. Love the car but I need to open up space for a 599.
