    How do i find original color code from factory using only chassinumber on a 308?

    or google the number and see if colors might be mentioned in any past sales that are uncovered.

    The car has only had 2 owners the last sale was in 1979 so nothing online, do tou have to pay a ridiculous anount to maranello or can i just order a paper for about 500 eur? Bevouse classiche is about 5000 eur

    Just 2-3 years ago they would give you this info at zero cost on registering with the owner's site. They also told you the original interior. You can no longer do this and all the old info is even wiped from the My Ferrari pages.

    I think the cheapest option now is to find am original panel and sand an invisible area back to see what colour layers exist.

    You do not need to submit your car for the complete $5000 certification/restoration service, but the classiche division maintains those records, and - through your local dealer - you can pay for your build documentation.

    This is what I got it was 600 bux. They said it would be $360. But they charged $600
