Agree, Daytona would be cool, especially since the 60's Daytona was never officially called this. Has it been confirmed if Monza is still owned by GM/Chevy? Personally, not a fan of Imola myself.
I've been told by similar informed people it will be 6.5 but as you say we are really close and who knows? They could be testing different options, one being as you say the other being larger motor. Then someone hears about one or the other and that's what makes its way into the "rumor mill". One thing is for sure, this car appears set up to be a real monster!
It simply has to be a larger displacement motor as they maxed it with expensive elements of F1 technology for the tdf and to get yet more power could only be achieved by either a larger displacement of some form of hybridisation. It will be a 6.5. Also bear in mind this information was originally confirmed by one of our best connected Members.

Agonising over colour and have been playing with the F12 configurator. So far tdf Blue or white (both with nero interior). Not in the mood for red again.
Any rumours about possible use of Ferrari's patented (US 8,424,499) pneumatic valve springs on F12M? Would be very useful for raising redline to help reach the lofty hp/displacement figures being talked about. Was expecting them on LaF as the patent was approved right around the same time, but not the case.
TdF blue fabulous. Think black too dark for interior. How about chocolate brown, or a cuoio of some sort?
I have a TDF Blue F12, just a warning its stunning when clean but bland when dirty and shows every mark.
Had as look at cuoio but thought if you go with sport seats with white/silver stitching and no CF so all non leather surfaces have the silver finish (and maybe play with the silver strips on the doors) you can break up the black Anyway its fun
Me! Hi to everyone! I'm new user! Have a lotus elise, project 7 and a california T. On 1st going to see it in Maranello to!
I have a rossa Scuderia and to be honest never seen another in that colour including on the TDF. Just love this colour, racing colour when first launched in 2003 with CS as they changed from rossa corsa in F1 to Roass Scuderia as HD TV was launched and the colour gave a better picture for F1 advertising on the cars. A rare colour on a F12.
RS on the 360CS is very nice but you need the stripe to complete the car. RC on the F12 is not my favorite as it makes the car look short IMO. White works well Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think the darker metallic reds works well on the F12. But the non-metallic reds like RC and RS flattens the lines completely and makes it look fat.
