Wow, now that is cool! Thank you very much for sharing, Robert! I hope you can enjoy your beautiful car for many more years! Markus
Robert: First and foremost, thank you for your service. Secondly, thank you for your amazing story. This is what Ferrari ownership should truly be about.
I thought those mountains look familiar! I grew up in NM live there for 42 years before moving. Still return often to visit family. Beautiful car, scenery and story, thanks for sharing and making me home sick. I still sport an NM flag on the wing of my Lotus and Zia symbols on all my vehicles.
Dear Scott, The mountains should look familiar as they are only about 30 miles SSW of Santa Fe called the Ortiz Mountains. To our west are the Jemez and to our NE are the Sangre de Cristos. Although not shown in the photo, the Sandia crest is easily visible to the SW of the Ortiz. As you know the elevation here is 7,000 feet above sea level and the top of Ski Santa Fe 18 miles away is over 12,000. If your family is in or near Santa Fe, then on your next visit get in touch and come see the blue car. Or drop down to Scottsdale on 15 January 2017 for the Arizona Concours as we have been invited to show the car there. Best regards, Robert

My Mom Lives in the Jemez Mountains, my Daughter and family in Albuquerque but I am not sure when my next visit will be. I think they are all coming to Vegas for the Holidays this year. At the very least I will come down to Scottsdale as I would love to see this amazing man and his amazing car!
Spectacular car, sir. Great piece, especially the part about your wife telling you and the car to slow down. T
