    Hello F-chatters!

GMP Autosport recently had the opportunity to add a few tasteful upgrades to a customer's gorgeous red 458. He wanted a more aggressive look that would look great without compromising ride quality and usability. This lead him to the HRE P104 finished in Satin Bronze. We did a 21" front, 22" rear setup, and topped it off with a set of Novitec lowering springs that help fill the wheel wells nicely.

To make the sound of the glorious V8 a little more pronounced, we added an IPE F1 exhaust system. Additional upgrades include a Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear diffuser and custom painted red brake calipers. All of these parts came together to create an awesome end result. Let us know what you think, and remember to reach out with any questions regarding parts, pricing or service.

    Upgrades list
    -21"/22" HRE P104 wheels
    -IPE F1 race exhaust
    -Novitec lowering springs
    -Vorsteiner carbon rear diffuser
-painted calipers from black to red

Probably one of my favorite modded 458s to date. Been thinking of similar wheels for mine.

Thanks for the kind words! Feel free to PM or email me if you have any questions regarding the fitment, color, or dims of this setup. Adding a set of these to any Ferrari is like putting a cherry on top of a banana split. Banana splits are incredible, but the cherry makes it THAT much better :) Cheers!

Looks awesome! Great tasteful upgrades! I assume no rubbing with those wheels / lowering?

How are those HREs? Any harshness through the stroke? if you could describe the difference in the feel from stock to aftermarket that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there glad you like the setup! Thanks for the feedback! Lowering it does cause the wheels to rub slightly at full lock, but only a tiny bit. Nothing that affects functionality.

    Hey Dennis,

The HRE's themselves won't really cause a big difference in the feel of the car. However, they are a little larger, and the downside to that is that the tires are slightly thinner than OEM, which will obviously have a slight affect on ride quality. The Novitec springs we installed cause the car to handle and turn tighter, and improve ride quality as well as performance. In terms of stroke harshness, you will not notice a large difference between this setup and stock.

    Very, very nice indeed!

A few tweaks here and there in the form of some details in the right place and proportions, add a lot to the whole picture.

    Congratulations, Will.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.
