All the new F cars are like this, it's not TdF specific.

They changed this on both the FF and F12 in 2015. My'14 F12 and '12 FF both were inside plugs....the FF was a nightmare to disconnect because you had to crawl through the interior and get to the port on the right-rear quarter panel (headache every time)

My '15 FF has the same external magnetic port as your F12. I can see where you coming from re the cover being on the car however, u should stick your hand up the "red skirt" once fitted to make sure plug in place [emoji4]

I think it's a new thing that Ferrari is doing, 488 has the same feature.

Ahahah no I'm not a Ferrari owner for the moment, but working hard on it. But if I had the opportunity to spec one, it would probably look very close !! :)

Inevitably the build up will result in disappointment for most as we all have our different taste, but from what I have seen in photographs, I should be very happy and feel I have fulfilled my brief which I gave myself and TM. However, I am still not 100% convinced they have the exact same colour as the swatch which will accompany me to Maranello March 1st. Even if I was in the U.K. I would not go to Topaz to look as it would ruin the hand over itself.

Topaz are under instructions as you correctly assumed. They are welcome to post the LM but not the tdf. I feel a little like The Factory posting the camo snow shots but without such a good reason.

    Ravishing pic.

Tim - you have to be the most emotionally disciplined tdf owner withholding the reveal to the very last second;).

Lol at what they do to verde tdfs at the factory - https://www.instagram.com/p/BPc_NuglZqW/?hl=en

Wow, not a fan of the lipstick liveries but this one is a twist. Body and wheel colour helping. Might be great, please provide more pictures if/when available.

The issue is that the colour appears to be somewhat complex and right now, from the pics I have seen, I cannot be sure it is correct as it appears different every time someone points a camera. And then I really do want to see her in the flesh myself before the Forum jumps in!

Whilst I find it difficult to believe I am writing this as a grey aficionado, but could I be getting a bit bored now, especially on the tdf?

I wonder if I will still retreat to my grey comfort zone with the M?

Love this shot and configuration but to me the tdf is not a leather interior sort of car.

I completely agree with you Tim, the F12tdf needs something else than full leather... alcantara or fabric or a mix between different materials.

I fear that my picture, wich shows a pure marvel, one of the most perfect ferrari I have ever seen, could have triggered a repulsive effect toward grey paint... In this case I would have "Shot a bullet in my own foot" like we say here.

Nonsense! (spoken as someone with all leather interior on ours)

To be clear, I'm not "anti-alcantara" (though not a fan of the 3d fabric), but we like the leather trim on our cars (did the same on the Speciale). While it's a beast, it's a street car and it adds quite a nice touch, plus the smell is...distinctive.

The nice thing about these cars is you get them however you want

I think its all about your vision and then realizing that vision. The only its a failure is if you didn't realize your vision and the odds on that are pretty low as the people at Ferrari are pretty good at helping you.

Is there a link to that blue TDF with leather interior? I have to say, it looks pretty good to my eyes and I'm not really into stripes. I'm glad they weren't asking for kidneys for these cars as I would have considered it!
