This happens here as well - had one of my swimming buddies insist Muslims were "over 20% of the population now and the fastest growing religion" based on what the internet told her...I emailed the most recent census figures to her which show Aus Muslim population at 2.2% of population (those pesky decimal points will get in the way of a good scare campaign!) and the fastest growing religion in Aus is actually Hinduism.
Martin Bryant? Still singlehandedly out killed innocent people by a factor of more than 3 compared to ALL Muslim terrorists in Aus to date. the Hilton bombing? the high court / family court bombings? the 11 kids murdered by their mum/aunt/cousin in Cairns? In recent years, understandably to a degree because of 9/11, a small number of Muslim nutters have been given an inflated amount of attention and importance. If there is a government / media conspiracy, it is to keep the sheeple frightened by a bogeyman group. Seem to be plenty buying into it.
2.2 % is way too much when they all hate Australia and want to destroy Australia way of life. They want to build their Mosques everywhere and they want everything to be Halal BS. I love my bacon & Alcohol . Hinduism which you say is the fastest growing religion never forced their views on you and don't go blowing things up in the name of religion . I see Muslims building mosque all around and not allowing others to wear what they want . They make sure that You feel like an outsider . You should wake up and smell reality mate. Muslims aren't our friends and the faster we know that the better . I ain't A Hindu or Christian .
Good catch mate and i believe all religion Teaches us To be good but for some reason , Islamic teachings isn't a religion of peace . This is my imho .

Very sad... but how did it come about? People bowing down to fear - stand up to it and it melts away like a schoolyard bully.
So why is a mosque more threatening than a church (plenty of those springing up as well, albeit mostly in recycled buildings)? Why is Halal certification any more threatening than Heart Tick or Kosher? Who's keeping you from your bacon or booze? Who's telling you what to wear? I live my life exactly as I always have, exactly how I choose because I won't be turned into a fraidy cat by the media or ***** blokes wringing their hands. Biggest hassle I've had since the 'Muslim terror' was invented is the nuisance with the faux security in airports these days. You blokes are swallowing the Koolaid like it's beer!
Karen is nearly right, I stood up to the schoolyard bullies ...... and got smacked down pretty quickly .... unfortunately I'm not too bright and I did it every day of my school life for either myself or my friends .... same result, on the ground with sore head ..... but I refused to give in to the bullies . Troy, unfortunately is taking over from me and gave a bully short shrift at TAFE last year when some street bullies came into the TAFE and harassed a disabled Aboriginal boy. To his credit and his mother's fear , he told these idiots to leave the disabled kid alone and get out, ... I think the 6'5" 120kg unit worried them a little and they left. So standing up to the bullies is fine as long as you look like you will waste them
