Mrs Schumacher's attitude is perfectly understandable and not uncommon for the spouse of a celebrity impaired by some affliction. I am not surprised that she wants to shelter her husband from unwelcome attention, or refuse to fuel speculations by giving bits of information. I will never understand why people cannot respect privacy.
+1 Just because someone is a fan of someone doesn't mean they're entitled to know every detail of their lives; healthy, sick, or otherwise.
He's incapacitated, not jailed. The latter suggests he's capable of normal function and is being prevented from doing so which is obviously not the case. He has a team of over a dozen people that work full time to care for him. That alone should tell you a tremendous amount about his condition. It's called getting on with your life despite great tragedy. I suppose you would have her cry 24 hours a day and sit by his side? That would set a great example for her children and certainly affect a meaningful change in Michael's condition. I suppose Mick should drop out of F3 as well and just sit with his father? Must be appalling to see him smiling on a regular basis?
Where did you read that ? It's obviously a "private" information and you should be ashamed to share it, according to the family charter. Not what i'm saying. I'm just pointing the hypocrisy of the situation. crying on the one hand about family privacy, and on the other hand, selling her image to tabloids.
It's been printed in multiple media outlets, I'm not sharing anything new. Your trolling ability is weak. Nah, that's not what you're doing. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Public image vs private medical information.
It is just a **** rumor from unreliable source, printed by TABLOIDS, without any family agreement. Public image ??? For what precisely ? for being the wife of Schumacher, the man who is not a public figure anymore ? Sorry, it just makes no sense.
I notice you have no problem insulting people who disagree with your way of thinking... Cretin, idiot.. Nice. Leaving you with your big circle jerk.
Please don't suggest he's an idiot. My use of the term earlier was directed at someone who does not have an account here, rather than a registered member. You are protected from personal attacks with moderation (see above), Willi Weber is not. You'll note that there were others who disagreed with me and criticised my viewpoint - and that's both fine and expected. In a manner similar to my criticism of Willi Weber, you charged Corinna Schumacher with imprisoning her husband and being a narcissist. That's not a moderation issue, but rejecting the statement itself is something I did as a fellow member. You shouldn't be surprised that we all don't agree. You appear to be in the minority on this issue, one you happen to feel strongly about. As the French say so beautifully: c'est la vie. All the best, Andrew.
That is documented. His watch is for sale, in our ads. Tax problems, apparently. Sorry to derail the thread. I think Michael is actually doing "better than our imagination", hopefully. But these things take time.....a long time. Get well soon, is still the best thought and message to send.
"Blink once, for yes".. "Blink twice, for no..." You guys don't hang around hospitals, like I do... It wasn't cold enough this winter, I was going to buy her horse warmers, for my brothers herd. It would take a LOT!!
Myself, and most here, agree with you. Myself, and most people here, DO NOT agree with you. If there was something good to be reported about Michael's condition, I am SURE it would be, but that information is not forthcoming, most of us can read into that, know what it means, and it is not good. Most of us know that. 'Details' we do not need to know, simply because we don't need to know, and maybe to some extent, we don't WANT to know.
I live very, very close to him/her and all I know is that all of close to him, nobody wants to give up hope! When his current live/state becomes public, I guess we get a public debate on the giving up and that is not what his loved ones want. Point!
I'm over it. Being a fan of his for all those years and we (the fans) being the reason of his popularity, not knowing ANYTHING for over 3 years, Comm'on, That ain't fair for us. Very Selfish of the Schumacher Family!!!!
Then let them be selfish...that is their right!!!!!! You and the Pope himself can't say otherwise. Respect that.
I am not so sure why some people think the family owes the rest of the world an explanation or updates on Michael's condition . Yes , he is or was a public figure with a huge fan base and undoubtedly he is fighting for life and has been for a while now , very stressful times for the family . There is no right or wrong way of handling this tragic event as far as the family is concerned . It would be great for fans to get an update once in a while , but quite frankly , it is stressful enough to watch the one you love going through an unbelievably traumatic time that everything else becomes secondary . The bottom line is it is nobody's business but Michael's and his family and how they choose to handle themselves is also their business . If some find it offensive , though luck , have some empathy , I don't envy Michael's position and wish him the best if it still applies .
As much as it is the family's right to keep silent, it is every fan's right to express their displeasure at how it is being handled. I don't envy the family, but others in this situation have handled it differently.
