    Very nice. The key value differentiator for these are the special AMG 6.0 liter engine, suspension, interior (steering wheel, shift knob, gauges, Recaro seats, etc.), as the body kits and Penta wheels are relatively common. Most AMG R107 cars were based on the Euro model 500SL. This car has Euro headlights, but what appear to be US bumpers. A US model AMG 560SL would be quite rare.     The Euro headlamps were actually added by AMG new and on the original receipts. In addition to the exterior skirts and wheels the car also has the AMG differential ABS and Limited Slip for $2,250.00 in 1989 money...

    Ok, so if I understand correctly, the AMG specific components this car has are:

    - Exterior skirts
    - Wheels
    - Differential (which I assume has a lower final drive ratio, as all 560SLs came with a LSD)

    Anything else?

    Do you have documentation from AMG stating this a factory authorized AMG car?

    I think clarifying the above will be appreciated by prospective buyers.

    The rear-end is AMG with Limited Slip Diff. The motor is stock.

    A guy that shows up at our local C&C has the same car, same color, with the same red wheels. His has over 500 K miles on it and his also looks brand new.
