I am finishing my smog equipment install. I can't figure out where two of these vacuum hoses terminate (one is obvious.) One goes under the air filter housing, and one is not shown at all in this TAV.

It's all three of the vacuum hoses connected to the valve. One is shown from electronic valve to the smog air valve, one is shown from the electronic valve over the front bank to ? One (on the right) is not shown at all.

    OK,

The "goes where" hose goes underneath the plenum to the air filter housing. That is the source of fresh air for the air injection system.

The hose that goes from that component to the air valve is the input to the exhaust manifolds, when the air injection system is active.

The "not shown" port vents directly to the atmosphere so that the vacuum has something to compare against. It is not shown because there is nothing connected to it.

If there is anything connected to that port (or a second port, hard to tell) then it is a small vacuum hose to a vacuum source underneath the coolant overflow tank. That is where the QV US terminates.

(Assuming this is a 1978 US 308GTS as shown in yoiur profile) In the stock configuration, it goes to one of the small metal pipes on the intake manifold that comes from just two of the barrels. I've got some FNA documentation at home showing the stock '78-'79 US 308 arrangement, and the modified arrangement that I preferred -- I'll post both tonight (again) if you can't find them.

This is correct. There is no hose - that port is "connected" to the atmosphere as Mitchell indicated.

No, that figure is for a US 1977 and before. However, in that figure you can see the small metal pipe below the carbs on the intake manifold connecting 4 barrels together (that is then connected to the top of the charcoal canister in that figure). On your '78, on the other intake manifold, there are two small metal pipes each connecting 2 barrels together -- the hose goes to one of those (in the stock configuration).

See this thread for some discussion (post #6 has the modified configuration):

That is one formal letter! Wonder why they said "dear Magnusson" as it was pretty clear that was your last name, and the end is awesome. Honestly, pretty sweet that they took the time to do that for you back in 93 :). Thanks for posting

If Ferrari knows who Steve is and what asset he is to the Ferrari owners in general, they would answer Steve's request.
