    My 98 F1 GTS has a custom, no muffler exhaust that came with the car. I like it, it's loud and has a great sound but seems rather complex....

    I've always wanted to try the Top Speed Challenge Exhaust and one barely used pop up on ebay today and I grabbed it for pretty short money :)

    I'll need to weld a post bypass TC bung but that's no problem ;)

    First pic is what I have now, second is the one I just bought :)

    And, I bought the challenge mounting bracket from Bruce Wright a year or so ago so I'm ready to go :cool:

    With cats they are a nice sound level loud for the street

    I had this on my car! It sounded decent WOT, loud at idle, but the main issue for me was that it droned in 6th gear. I'm much happier with my Capristo. :)

    It will sound pretty much like my F355 Challenge, Dave. My OEM catalytic converters are still in place as they were when my car raced in the Challenge Series...

    Barry, that was a great time. I left my house at 5:30 AM. Hammering a Ferrari thru country roads that early just does not get any better :)

    I almost bought the TopSpeed

    this one you posted looks a little different from what's shown on their website.

    it's light enough to not need the bracket, Rob runs it as such.

    probably sounds exactly like the fabspeed challenge exhaust I had but sold now.

    very loud at idle even with stock cats on.
    WOT it screamed like hell!

    Well, it arrived today and looks pretty darn good :)

    Very nice TIG welds ;)

    I need to add the post TC bung and then find time to install on the F1 GTS

    Looking forward to trying this out but it won't be until April when the weather breaks...

    ya that does look nice..

    interesting there is only blue heat marks on the right main exhaust pipe and nothing on the left..?

    I did not notice until you said that.... I also wonder if this was polished at all before it was listed for sale? Regardless, I got it for a very good deal :)

    so what do you think that means for the previous car it was on?
    that one side has heat color and other side doesn't?

    lean/Rich on one side or the other?
    could mean came off a 2.7 car where one bank was running more lean/rich then the other?
