Btw, I am off to Finland to drive 918 on ice next month, then ship my own car to Hockenheimring for Porsche track school in May. Then ship it to South of France early June for some scenic drive and then later in September for driving on Alpine Passes. Might even take it to Paul Ricard for more track time in November. In addition running my own 3 mile track here in
Canada.

It all began Jan of 2015 here, he went from 0 to insane in about 10 posts back then. Yep... and it's been nutso ever since he reappeared. It was really nice and normal for the 6months or so after he was banned under 'LMFAO', he had to resort to trolling the other forums.

Hmm, quite hard to do when he is flooding the forum with junk. Think he had like 620 posts from Nov 2016, about 2000 of those are garbage.

 

I find it easy to do when I use the ignore feature in the User CP settings. I can only see his garbage if it is quoted by someone else. Below is a screenshot with the appropriate Ignore setting activated.

The P1 lap time in invalid anyway, because there is a clear edit at 2:53-2:54.

1) Treynor graphs of 3 consecutive 918 hot laps and statement.

2) Andrew Aquilante video and statements. He leaves the pits to do some hot laps and does an out-lap, as evidenced by 5:00 lap time, so car is fully charged, and the 918 is 5mph slower on the 2nd straight and 17mph slower on the penultimate straight on the 2nd lap.

That '150m' is now just the second fib you've told people.

 

Well I can't speak for LMFAO, but I see lots of people making personal insults when confronted with facts they don't like.

 

I think you'll find that was you. First the 300kph braking in 150m, then 160-80mph in 80m, now the 918 will apparently lap all day in HL Mode, rather than like 2 minutes as proven.

He showed all he need to to make his point, which has now been validated by laps at COTA for the P1, and laps at Sebring for the 918. Case proven, the end.

He was only commenting on EV range. If he made a direct statement about HL Mode, then it would be relevant. But you know, he doesn't always get things right, like video editing for example and thinking he'd done a 1:20 lap of Anglesey GP (his video).

You claimed 150m to support the braking zone being after speed check 1 on The Grand Tour, he claimed 160-80mph in 80m to support your ridiculous claim, before you decided it was too silly and claimed a typo. I got tired of his alternative facts some time ago. I would rather have him stick to McLife.

My question aside from the Mycroft sideshow is: Can anyone tell me the purpose of the Ferrari Fxxk and P1 GTR? They are not road legal, and are clearly not race cars as they drain batteries quickly at high speed track driving. Are they merely cash grabs for the manufacturers?

 

I think that they are probably made to make money or to showoff their technology.As for lap times P1 GTR is 9s slower than an F1 GTR at Laguna Seca and around 10s slower at Red Bull Ring.They are even slower than GT3 cars by 3s at Laguna Seca and 4s slower at Red Bull Ring.But at fast tracks like ring I think they could lap faster.

Anyway if someone wants a racecar it is better to buy GT3 cars rather than these track day cars.
