If Ferrari will stop this year the production of the v12 NA engine for this car for goes only with Turbos , should the Gtc4 v12 became something to collect and to appreciate his value ?

Of course we wish.....but probably unlikely.....I think FF would be more likely to become a collector car as it's PF designed

If it goes V12 turbo's after this or V8 only definitely, but keep on driving.

Likely they'll go V12 hybrid though.

If at all, not for a looooong time, So much will happen from now and within the foreseeable future. I think it's wishful thinking as well.

If they go with a hybrid solution for the replacement, it will definitely not.

Cars are ladies by the way;)

Agreed, the proper spec'd FFs will become sought after at some point. Here in Canada they are so rare and and will be sought after for their ripping V12 2+2 configuration.

The question of "should" is an interesting one. You could argue your reasons why or why not. But none will be collector cars. Have a look at how the vintage 4 seaters fare.

Maybe in the way a horse and carriage is, when obsolete as all auto regulated drive in next generation ;-)

I doubt it in the sense of very collectable Ferrari, 2 plus 2 has always been the poor relation. But equally, with the V12, the excellent gearbox, it is unlikely, like the FF, to drop to the lower reaches of Ferrari values like the 456 or 612 did .

I have never met an FF owner who has had a bad world to say about the car, I would expect the same to be true of the Lusso. Seems a car to be used and enjoyed more than anything.

A collectors car, no. Decent residuals, perhaps.

When I sold my 2007 599 GTB in 2013 (it was in stunning condition, one owner, low miles FFSH, etc) I was paid 85K by my Ferrari dealer. They had it listed in the high 90Ks.

Today the owner of that beautifully cared for car (lucky sod) will have seen the value of it increase. I wouldn't have guessed that in 2013.

Good 599 GTBs are now sought after. My bet is the FF will follow suit.

Recent past is not necessarily a good guide. The rising tide floats all boats. Even the unloved 348 has more than doubled in price.

The usual wisdom that modern Ferrari prices follow some J curve is based on the past 5 years have lifted all prices regardless of collectabilty. I owned a testarossa from new which depreciated for 17 years before catching the recent wave.

I think the FF is going to stay down for a while, you cannot compare Ferrari two seater cars to the FF

The FF is a 4 seater that is not pleasing the the eye for most. I personally think it's one of the most amazing body designs ever but that's me
