    Do you know if it's possible to have the front brake duct flaps stay open all the time.

    the brake flaps cannot be opened manually (i.e. no switch inside), similar to the moveable aero pieces on the Speciale, tdf, et al (unlike Porsche, where you can lift the rear wing with a switch)

    F12 flaps open based on temperature; it's the same temp sensors that feed the VDA display, and close again when the temps are in control

    you can trigger them using a dealer DEIS system if plugged in

    if you're trying to capture them opening and closing, just drag the brakes, they'll heat up soon enough and the ducts will open. of course, not sure WHY you would want to do that

    on our F12, only ever actually had them open when we had the car on track
