This is a bit of the same way I might feel about the GTC4 vs FF. As I wrote somewhere else, I love the quad tail lights of the GTC4, however then the rest is not for me. Since I had the choice of either a new FF or (wait some extra months for) GTC4, I choosed the FF. Now I would like to point out that this is MY choice, someone else might very well choose the other way around. Design is something personal. Anyway, no matter what or when, just enjoy Ferrari is enough for me It's my dream car.
I'm not in the know, but that is precisely what I'm seeing in that illustration. Perhaps it is a slot lying above another panel or the rear glass? Anyway, congrats, again, on what appears to be another confirmation of your clairvoyant ability to predict the future of Ferrari design!
Thank you. Maybe the Ferrari illustration exaggerates the setback of the inlet leading edge from the window, but from the pics of the prototypes the inlet seemed to start right along the trailing edge of the quarter window, but curiously it was padded up a bit - so who knows. In any case, real deal should be close to my sketch, even the outlet looks similar, though in reality may be lower on the fender and cross through the fender line like tdf.
Nice, hopefully it's different enough. I just want the F12s to ease up in value a bit so I can convince the wife I need it alongside the GTC Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
What I find interesting is how Enrico Galliera is taking on more of a PR role that was once the purview of LdM. Not to mention his continuing work with many of the special Ferrari customers...
https://static.motor.es/fotos-noticias/2017/02/ferrari-f12-m-201733623_8.jpg The front is wrong, since it's too close to the Tdf. @ the luck b's who "saw the wolf" Does the rear look anything close to this ?
That looks like the love child of coach worker Touring's limited rebodied F12B cars and the F12TDF. That's not the car.
Looks like just a vent at the trailing edge of the rear window and exiting behind wheel to vent air from the well. Odd that the original descriptions said it angled opposite to the tdf gills and this shows same direction.
I suppose it's again an in-house design. Does anyone know why Ferrari and Pininfarina have followed different paths? It's a shame. What is the last car designed by Pininfarina (except the Sergio)? Is it the F12? If so, future classic granted.
The F12 was the last production Ferrari to wear the Pininfarina badge because the Laferrari, California T and GTC4 Lusso and also the Maserati Ghibli have all been released without it. I think the idea of relying on their own Ferrari design team has strengthen since Pininfarina was purchased in 2015 by the indians of Mahindra and the company is no more governed by Paolo Pininfarina. The collaboration between Pininfarina and Ferrari through so many decades created many cars that are absolute master pieces. We still have to wait for the new models of the next decade in order to be able to give a verdict to the Ferrari design team creations.
+1 "Shift dimensions", isn't it the term used when speaking of going from one dimension to another? Or was it switch? In any case i think it's just a light play on words.
Maybe they were playing Lego Dimensions on a game console when they came up with the idea [emoji1] Skickat från min MHA-L29 via Tapatalk
Or maybe we are emphasizing the wrong word and what they are really hinting at is "shift" as in it has a gated 6-speed! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
