    Seriously?

How can you know that? Were you at the preview? If not, I'd say you need a crystal ball to make that statement.

Your dislike of the F12 rear as well as the F12 TDF in general is perfectly acceptable in the perspective that taste is a personal thing. But to say the M is beautiful you certainly have a crystal ball so please tell us were you've bought it.

I was just looking at the tdf photos thinking if this was done by mansory everyone would complain. But it aint. So it's awesome!

    I love the look.

Funny early angry fchat post though. LoL.

I am really curious about the treatment of the front fenders...if they are somewhat LaF inspired. IMHO we will see more and more front fenders - and other parts of the body - with AM-RB 001/LMP1 aero trickery in these high end production cars...again IMHO...

Why post something such as "the car us ugly!"? It makes no sense, especially in an enthusiast forum such as F Chat. If you were to say you never liked the F12 but, upon seeing the new car, you do like that, then thats fine, thats your opinion. We are all swayed by styling and design. There is no more proof than the fact that we've been going back and forth trying to figure out so much about the car, when we basically know the technical highlights- even from before some of the info from the presentation was presented to us. As an emotional thing, a car's styling is important.

To that point, ingegnere, again thank you for your work. It looks very promising. I just wonder if as your article points out and using the F60 America as a guide, will they go with this "tuning fork" type motif on the side of the car, if you look at the F60 you can see it, especially as it tucks into the big side vent. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I've learned these things need to be seen, and seen in person, to really know what one thinks.

As to the availability, I am in the US. So I believe our UK members when they say its really high demand. I have not yet really discussed it with my dealer, but I am operating on an assumption that initial demand will be very strong. Just for the simple fact that this will be an ~800HP V12 NA Ferrari! And we have pretty informed speculation that this could be the last NA V12 unassisted from the brand. And then all the other cool tech like 4WS etc. So I have a feeling at least in the USA, getting one of these in the first 18 months probably will be very difficult unless you are a great customer or have a relationship with your dealer. But this is a fairly typical state of affairs with a new Ferrari model. I wonder how long will this model cycle run? My guess is 3-4 years. The F12b still has demand for new cars even now. But its nowhere as strong as when the car was first released. So I will again take a guess and say if you want one of these cars, let your dealer know I would feel fairly confident you could see something for later in the production run. However, this is just my experience talking.

U're correct.. That's just my opinion. Well, my friend has seen the car and based on the fact that we have the same taste, I do trust him. For example, we both don't like the f12's rear. Or prefer the gt4's back over the ff's... So I'm calm.

The two rears on first and second picture are completely undressed and each one has her own beauty and enchantment. For now we can just imagine the form and the contours of the their picture rear and the simple fact that isn't yet undressed makes her much more sexy and desirable.

Funny I have an F12 and the rear Alfa style is the only bit I am not keen on.

The F12b's rear was also it most disputed design. It had a lot of haters when first pics were released. But again, the beauty about these designs is that you have to see the car in the flesh. Pics don't domit any justice. Like most works of art

Completely agree unless you see the cars in the flesh opinions or comparisons are not accurate.

    Honestly hes kind of right.

TDF look like something hacked out of these tuners catering to a tasteless but rich clientele.

I don't mind the F12 rear it looks good certain angles. Ferrari should get away from the F1 tribute things(they were trying to make the rear look like an F1car), really that was always the downside of one the excess 'F1' experience which nobody really wanted.

My opinion is there simply too many 'exotics' being produced, way too many models and it seems apart of the throwaway culture produced by companies who need constant revenue to repay compounding debts. Yes America wrecked the world.

Funny how people see things so differently as my business relies on good taste and style and yet as I have posted before, I find the tdf the best looking Ferrrai since the 275 GTB. It is a totally different kettle of fish from what a Mansory or any other tuner could produce and the market seems to agree, but then we all see things differently.

Out of interest, what blows your dress up as a car design?

Based in US. I have a reasonably long relationship and had an early allocation with the 488 spider and California T. Interesting to see how the different regions manage the build slots and deposits. we write the checks (at least my ad) after we have gone through and configured. I am on the west coast so I imagine we have a pretty good allocation. Dealer has been fantastic so fingers crossed.
