Actually, R&T got it from Motor1 (WorldCarFans), and they got it from here. Although, it was kinda ****** move though, getting the info from here and then posting the direct link to his post especially since it has his name.

What Challenge64 posted wasn't speculation, it was direct from the client reveal.

I'm sure I'm in loads of trouble.

For the record, I asked the staff at the preview if it was ok to take notes and talk about the presentation and they said "yes". They said the only rule was no photos. Obviously I lacked the common sense to read between the lines and keep the info off the internet.

    I really hope not.

Do you think you could answer one question? In what order would you put the three F12 derivatives in your order of preference assuming they all cost and were worth the same?

My read (granted from a distance) your passion got the better of you. Who among this group has never had that happen? I'm definitely guilty on that one- on multiple occasions. And besides much of the information was kind of guessed at before.

    PS, Camlet1, well said!

They; Ferrari obviously like 'ink' at the right time so ask them for some pictures of the presentation ( to be sent after the embargo) and do a cover story on the new model and the manner in which Ferrari caters to it's favourite customers with preview events...

For the individual that posted...fair enough....I was actually - out of curiosity - asking what can they do to/against F-chat if they don't comply with the request.....

As far as I am concerned its a fair request from Ferrari, more evidence that the threads here are read which in itself is highly complimentary of the standard of posts here and calibre of members.

As for the F12M, huge power and rwd it will be interesting to see how this is harnessed in everyday motoring. The F12 was hardly slow and I cant imagine many complained..."it needs more power"

Perhaps a fair request by Ferrari, however a silly one.

Its just Ferrari creating drama to further hype the car. They knew some info would leak so they initiated the leak themselves and then come around and act like they are stopping top secret information. Pretty brilliant IMHO. Its like a soap opera with their new car reveals and we all secretly enjoy it. Thrill of the chase is very much in play because its human nature to want what we are told we can not have.

What's the problem of info being posted in a Ferrari forum. It's not like the specs will change before Geneva, and unveiling it to clients is a soft launch. The more word on the street about the car, the better. Transparency generates genuine interest, as opposed to people skewing the unknown and turning them away by hiding what's available in plain sight. Petty and silly.

If they don't want info to be widely known about a car, keep it under a blanket until a public reveal.

The R&T article is still up, so assume this is a storm in a teacup?

Yeah, that makes sense. With all the buzz surrouding the private previews in Maranello, I immediately (and incorrectly) thought about the new F12M.
    Sorry for the confusion.
