There are previews all this week - if they think anything in the presentation won't be all over the internet then they are dreaming

However they normally realise the pictures and data before the show anyway

Getting the speculation back on track, have concluded that perhaps the fatter hips of the basic tdf body from which the M is derived interferes with the aero of the original F12b. The tdf had flaps to redirect that and was speed dependent and the M just went ahead and flowed it through the fender and out onto the read deck. Also, changes the look up. I would submit that the thin skinned camo pictures reveal 95% of the car and we're just left to speculate on the remaining 5%. My guess anyway. I know my car very well and if I was at a pre-reveal event there's a couple places I would definitely be looking at - one of them is the under body covers.

Recent McLaren launch they made attendees sign an NDA, its funny how we (me included) think it's fair game to attend an event kindly provided by a host and breach their trust !

Secretly I think the manufacturers like it - as noted adds to the mystique and the dimension humans love - privileged access and inside track.

Did he really do anything wrong??

    IMO no.

He did not take pics and post them. He was not told (explained), signed an NDA (assumption here) that forbid him to talk about the information he got (who's to say its accurate information anyway).

What if he had told a buddy and the buddy then posted the info. Same result.

Storm in a teacup and yes I agree Ferrari are happy as from all reports if the information is in fact true - car will be AMAZING

There's a long history of previews, and attendees leaking info on media/forums etc. However, IMHO, there is a fine line between dropping hints/drip feeding info (as is common) vs posting a single page executive summary of the presentation, which is when the manufacturer gets involved.

I don't think we are going to know much more for a couple of weeks. I believe the Press embargo comes off March 1st so maybe then the first pics. Let's face it, we know most of the technical points, weight aside, so it's really the aesthetics we now want to feast on.

Well one thing we can deduct from all of this.

Now we know for sure that Ferrari reads our posts.

Maybe after the F12M is launched, we should start a thread solely devoted to telling Ferrari what we'd like the F12M replacement to be:D

I actually think there's a good chance of it being in the center. They did it on the Lusso after all.

Chatting with my UK dealer this evening he confirmed they alone have between 40-50 deposits so far on the F12M - I am one of those 40-50, but who knows when I see my car.

Same for mine whic theoretically means he is sold out based on F12 allocations. I assume a major dealer? Whereabouts are you?

Quite funny - GTC was Como with all trimmings, driving on ice, Courmayeur etc. Plus event in London, big capex.

F12M is tent and some quiche at Fiorano and you can have one when we say so !

Makes sense - GTC is a tougher sell. From all accounts, they can do away with the quiche and F12M will still be sold out here.
